Thats it though? they are a supportive peice? I dont like thinking defensively in chess. I think you need to threaten as much land as possible. Of the utmost importance is the center 4 squares. how do you usually play?

How would I effectively use the rook? Most of the time its a late game piece that I use to finish the game. Is there any other purpose for it?

Whatever this is only one of your many sock accounts. hence your apparent apathy that this can get locked so quickly.
You have like 5 other accounts and you have conversations with yourself every day on the forums. Its boring. And you know what you are doing is blatantly wrong yet will continue to do so until the moderator stops you. Which wont matter you have many sock accounts. -
RE: Winning Chess Strategyposted in Other Games
Anyway, Have you ever tried using the knights first instead of the pawns? you move less pieces, and they can out maneuver the pawns as well

RE: Do you prefer the dardanelles open or closed? Why and who does it favour?posted in Axis & Allies Spring 1942 Edition
If you throw Russia some ships ( not in the startup…but hey you get to use those ship molds!) it helps the Allies. Ive played that way where you give germany three more Subs but give Russia 2 destroyers in an open Dardanelles. Its a blast! would reccomend it. simply because its a different way to play.
If you dont give anything to Russia though…dont play with it! the Axis will crush you!
