First off, thanks for watching it helps a lot.

Extra Pieces:
Austria:  5 - 10 control markers, 2 planes
Russia:  5 or 6 infantry
Germany: 5 - 7 infantry, 2 planes ,5 -10  control markers
France: 2 more of all land units , 2 planes
UK: 3 Transports,  5- 10 control markers
Ottoman Empire: Nothing extra
Italy: 5 Infantry
USA: Nothing extra

These are just rough estimates of what you will need. This list is based on what I need. I suggest that you play it a few times before buying extra pieces to see what you need.(Germany still needs more Infantry and control markers)

You are right about how this game draws so much criticism. When this game first came out, it sold for 100 US Dollars. Now you can get a copy for 60 US Dollars on amazon. There is not a lot of unit originality with this set. The only unit that is different from nation to nation is the infantry. All the other units are the same.

Great to hear from you cloud, if you do the SZ 37 raid with the extra fighter it takes out 2 of their planes and i think that only the bomber and a fighter can get to it if SZ 37 raid works.

Start by Strategic Bombing the factory in the UK

• Have 3-5 bombers for this reason
• send escort fighters(remember they can knock out your bombers with their fighters and AA guns on the factories)
  Build your fleet, army , and air force for the task
• make sure your builds are not obvious (you want to keep them off your back)
• make sure you put pressure on the Soviet Union

if you strategic bomb their factories and take away Africa and the Middle east, they are reduced to 20 or less IPC’s and forced to fix their factory in London or build elsewhere. All you have to do is exceed what is on the UK.

Do it after turn 3 but before turn 7.

Follow this and you should be fine.

I would not recommend building a navy until the US is ready to roll. It takes up too much IPC’s to do so. You need to build some Fighters or Infantry, peferably both. A little Pacific strategy, if you want to crush J early, move the entire UK pacific fleet into SZ 37 taking 2 infantry from eastern Australia and 2 from India to take East Indies.

Ah. So it depends on what the starting situation? So maybe round 1 is too early to choose which way to go or is that just enough time?
