      "As for me, heck, I don’t really care, truth is I even rooted for Brazil. Now, do you see me purposely going out and say, in front of those German fans, “So what? No biggie.” No, that’s disrespectful, means a whole lot to them, and it kind of soils their celebration. That’s what I was talking about.

      “No double standards against europeans !!!”

      Who said anything about Europeans? If you from Canada or Mexico, I would still say, in front of our national holiday, keep your comments to yourself."

      You said it!

      America is always wrong, everything we do provokes ill feelings? Stop the double standard against America or we will pull men out of Bosnia! (Well, if you don’y exclude American servicement from the International court!)

      And how many hours do you work a week :)

      “What horten call the “leftish european intellectual” have no personnal interest in these left-wing group; they will just loose money (power). They just think it is the good thing for social evolution.”:

      “Leftist Europeans” are the Europeans that are sterotypical to the same opinions concerning foreign relations, economics, and all of that.

      @HortenFlyingWing:

      Now I don’t want to say “communism is bad” and not have any real reason for it (and god knows moses, you and I have told each other the same thing a million times! ) .

      And god knows how many times I had to answer your question, “Greed ruins everything” and “Corruption ruins everything.” :wink: I think that is about the 10th topic that deals with communism – not bad, eh?

      Hey, you never give me a straight answer how will you can stop a baby acquiring greed.

      ." People, believe it or not, do not work for money; they work for what the money can buy. If people really only want money then I suppose they would behave as Wingy indicates"

      No, people want stuff. Think of it like this. People go to a GAS PUMP, AND STEAL GAS…NOT MONEY (THIS ANALOGY DOESN;T WORK WELL WITH BANK ROBBERIES.) People want to acquire more and more, because it is this greed is acquired after birth, and I doubt a society can be made to prevent this from happening. Stop bringing up the Native Americans!

      @Yanny:

      So just by chance earth is entering a “warm cycle” during the time that we are polluting it most? I don’t believe in coincidences.

      Ha! If there is warm and cold cycles, there is a 50% chance of one happening, so how is something with that sort of odds have to coincide with the other?

      Even if it wasn’t a alien spaceship, I would still consider what you say a UFO from your point of view (unidentified flying object).

      Oh yeah, can I take back my ballot and vote “no” to go against the crowd?

      unless it was never really there flying.

      The second last one I saw almost looked like the fake one from the 1950s (but more of a disk, but it flopped around!) They all looked metallic.

      @TG:

      Well you’re right in the way that you do need a force to maintain obedience before the transition from capitalism to higher-level communism. However, Stalin was one ruler (you can count the Bolsheviks but most of them were either purged or forced to support Stalin’s actions). In lower-level communism, the power lies in the armed state of workers. Therefore, it is the majority rule by force, not just one man. This is the “inequality” (though small inequality) that Marx talks about in order to prepare for the withering of the state.

      Who says they want to give that power away? Keep it! Most people, in all societies work for above all, theirselves, not the common good. Even people who support communism support it only because it offers an increased quality of lifed for themselves, and then others…This flaw is more than that, it is the greed that is an open wound in our society, and communism would only rub salt into it.

      Now I don’t want to say “communism is bad” and not have any real reason for it (and god knows moses, you and I have told eachother the same thing a million times! :) ), but I must say that the long term effects of human greed in a society that would compensate everyone would be harmful, because the society would lose to will to work and would no longer strive, and eventually, not enough food would be grown, and there would not be enough clothes to keep man warm.

      Look at the economic downturn in France.

      Did any of you hear that Belgium found Sharon innocent of the “war crimes” he had been acuessed of at Sabra and Shatila in Lebanon in 82? They claimed he was indirectly responsible forthe Lebanese militia massacring Palestinians there.

      no, pro-palestinian people, and many people politically to the left choose not to hear it.

      @F_alk:

      @Xi:

      The territories are not occupied. I was attacked repeatedly by Egypt, Syria, and Jordan('56, '67, '73 if I remember correctly). They won the wars and took the territories to insure their continued security.

      '56 the military actions were started by Israel.
      '67 the war was started by Israel.
      '73 the war was started by Egypt.
      '78 Israel conquered the “security zone” in the Lebanon
      '82 Israel attacked the Lebanon and seized Beirut

      that’s way overly simplistic. especially when the enemy was mounting forces and firing artillary shells and raiding israel.

      So germany didn’t start World War, poland did.

      “Well, controlling the water in that area of the world is the same as controlling the land. Without water, there is no irrigation and nothing to drink for the ppl. The land is worthless to the ppl if they don’t have water, so the “control” still would be in israeli hands.”

      Yes, but if the palestinians had the water, then it would be in their hands, correct? So should a country giving peace to a nation that would most likely destroy it give up both of their water supply?

      "I hope this dosen’t come off sounding predudice, but The situation with “Native Americans” In our country and more spesificaly in my state, annoys me like you wouldn’t belive.

      Do they have reservations in Canada? I know they don’t in Mexico.

      What a pile of crap! I was born here too, dosn’t that make me a native?

      I think that this has gone on long enough the US government should just declare reservations obsolete and treat the tribes like private companies, which is basicaly what they are, and quit giving them handouts and making special rules for them."

      I have family in Arizona, ande all Arizonans are such racists! I mean damn, do you see those so called “reservations”? You might as well give them a dumb in brooklyn.

      “What a pile of crap! I was born here too, dosn’t that make me a native?”

      No, you are a descendent of someone who benefitted from the Spanish, French, and English dudes who killed anyone in their way. Even buffaloes! (those basdtards.)

      “I think that this has gone on long enough the US government should just declare reservations obsolete and treat the tribes like private companies, which is basicaly what they are, and quit giving them handouts and making special rules for them.”

      Reservations, casinos, and taxless cigarettes are the “compensation” for us raping them up the ass without lubing up (in other words stealing their land and keeping them “down” economically.) Reservations? They should be allowed to have them…they are not worth anything anyway. Taxless cigarettes and gas? No, that only helps organized crime.

      I’m one of those guy’s who doesn’t believe in compensation (like money given to descendents of slaves, holocaust survivors, and things of the sort.) The best we can do is move on and not seperate people from each other from what happened in the past.

      But why would you take away their reservations? That is the little crap they even have left.

    • RE: Fundamental Pledge Question

      my friend and I emailed each other about this…maybe you care to read it!

      A short rant of mine:
      "In the pledge, I believe in California, it is unconstitutional to say “under
      god.” Now I believe to much of America’s politics and society is dictated by
      the will of the “God of Israel, Abraham…whatever” At the G-8 conference,
      Bush made a stupid reference about that our politicians should all believe in
      God, and of course he is alluding to the God of the Jews, Christians, and
      Muslims. Now I know the “under god” in the pledge, made in 1944, probably
      ment the christian god, but isn’t it open to interpretation? I’m sure an
      agnostic god wouldn’t be so offending (a god that can be anything as simple
      as a plain “governing force of the universe”, like the laws of physics.)

      The guy who brought the case up also brought up the case to take “In God We
      Trust” of money. God can be interpretted in many fashions, because it
      doesn’t say “in a christian god…” I would have to say “under god” should
      stay."

      and what my friend said:

      "… I believe that “under god” in the pledge is a load of garbage. I think the judge ruled correctly, and I think that he’s a crap judge who went back on his decision once a few “god loving” people got a touch upset. I think that is… “fair-weather” judgeship. If you make a decision, you should be able to stand behind it 100%, and not care who is against your interpretation of the constitution.

      Please, I wouldn’t want MY kids saying “under god”, until they are of age to decide if religion is for them. If it is, I won’t complain, but if they think that the big invisible man in the sky who “loves” us so much to send us to hell is a load of garbage, I’ll stand with them there too. My kids are MY kids, and no government agency will tell them to SAY “under god”. Being patriotic does not mean being religious, and those two words are not synonymous with “AMERICA RULES!” Just because I don’t want to say it doesn’t mean that I am anti-america, and I’ll go burn a flag (which I am all for, along with killin those damn babies. Heh.) My spiritual beliefs should not be tested in school, and neither should little kids be bullied into saying “under god” in class. My little sister was FORCED to say the pledge up to THIS YEAR, in 8th grade. I don’t think that’s right. She would’ve been singled out and ostracized by the teacher if she didn’t say it. Personally, I haven’t said the pledge since the 6th grade, singly for the “under god” clause in it. I love america, america fuckin rules, but I do not think that me not saying the pledge makes me love america any less, just differently, less spiritually and religiously. Also… separation of church and state much?

      When they were in school, my parents had to say all that communist bullshit. They were forced to sing their songs, say their slogans, and hail their flag. Forcing kids into saying “under god” is not QUITE that extreme, but it’s bad enough. "

    • RE: 9/11 conspiracy

      “Basically, 9/11 was an Israel intelligence plot.”

      You read this on “whatreallyhappened” website? Everything there is a lie and is specifgically written in a fashion to suggest and brainwash.

      "They would get the bombers to run themselves into the Trade Center, and then the Israelis would wait for the Americans to respond. After they respond, Israel would be free to react to Palestinian Terrorists as it pleased. Also it would be free to take on Iraq and Syria, whom Israel views as a terrorist state.

      Interesting, not completely outrageous, but again I don’t believe in it"

      The conspiracy was to get Americans to “hate arabs”, and by hell they did. 31% of america favored putting arabs in camps! (only 27% favored racial profiling, which is totally insane.)

      Bin Laden did it, he was even caught on tape (though I personally believe it was a fake, but for no real reason.)

      But now we have a bunch of Europeans (hell the world), denouncing Israel more than ever, and American’s wanting to shy away to “protect us from terror.” 9-11 hurt israel more than any war they ever fought (especially because they won them.)

      And now he’s dead…
