so where is a good place to check out prices? and how much more money is a fire ready weapon than a de-militarized one?

He 162 was the volksjaeger, people’s fighter. it was a cheap easy to make jet fighter. not a suicide aircraft, though it had an ejector seat.

the game is supposed to be balanced. if the game had to have some historically inaccurate changes, then so be it.

      the axis lost you know…

the hindenburg was sabotaged IMO. They say it was blown down by static electricity…i don’t think so. it has been documented that it has been struck by lightning, so isn’t that a bigger zap? lightning didn’t take it down, so i doubt a tiny zap would.

The fire seems to have started near the back. there was an area where people can access deep inside the airship, and there was a man named Spehl who had access to the axial walkway, and could of placed a bomb there. He had anti-nazi friends, and taking down the hindenburg was like taking down the twin towers. it was symbolic. in fact, the hindenburg was hours late, and the bomb was probably supposed to go off without any real casualties. at least IMO.

you got a major grudge against that game!

Germany would never do suicide attacks. Hitler didn’t want manned V1s!

yes, there is a german company building two rigid airships larger than the hindenburg for lifting entire construction sites.

Zeppelin is building airships (semi rigid) already in operation for touring. they plan to make 40 of them, and i heard there are also plans for trans-atlantic airships.

Cruise-ships made a comeback, because of vacationers, not speed. imagine taking a slow beautiful tour without loud helicopter sounds…the beauty of a rigid airship. damn, i hope they comeback…they just might fifty years from now. just to think that in the 1950s, the world only had two airships all together. that was it.

I got all of my blimp info from a book i got for ten bucks called “Hindenburg” by Rick Archbold. great book with a lot of rare pictures.

that’s what i do, but usually russia can muster a good counter attack.

you seem damned if you don’t use aircraft on the attack against karelia, thous extra 3 and 4s or lesses do a lot.

It was a good thing that nazi high command ignored it! The Me262 would of been an excellent fighterbomber, but just like the FW190, it should of first served its fighter role, then be adjusted to other things.

The Me163 didn’t have wheels, it used skis. it glided for a landing, and landing itself killed a lot of pilots.

The Me163 as a limited interceptor would of been a huge fear factor.

the Bachem Ba 349 Natter was made of wood, i just double checked. it held 24 rockets.

      exactly.

I like the system in Israel and Europe now. if someone agrees to an intensive background check, and thye are deemed not a threat, they don’t have to be checked at all. it might sound flawed, but it seems to work.

    • RE: Rommel and Hitler

It is debateable if the panzers would of done much good all near the beaches. Rudenstech (however you spell it), did not want the tanks on the beaches, so hitler came up with the 1/3 solution. if they were near the beaches, they would of been near calais, and horribly spread out. Rusenstech wanted to have none spread out, so the allies would be allowed to establish a beachhead, but the germans would be able to take a mass of forces and attack one area alone. Even if this did not throw the allies into the ocean, it would of probably held the allies off more. Germany had troops in Cherbourg long after it was surrounded. they were horribly split. the beaches were too long to protect, and the atlantic wall was a billion reichsmark joke. i agree with the rudenstech guy’s strategy.

"Hitler a drug adict? i thought he was a health freak he did not even allow smoking in his Berlin bunker.

oh ya and he also killed his dog allong with his wife. "

Oh yes, hitler was a real big drugee. Health freak too. in fact he took drugs FOR his health. He had injections every day to deal with his shaking and head pounding, and took pills to help his stomach. His arms were horribly scarred by needles, and his injections and pills were poisons, poisonous penicilin derrivtives, procaine (a kind of cocaine), and god knows what else. He had a special doctor who specialized in Venereal Disease treat him, and he was well respected by hitler, and was given high priority throughout the war. He followed hitler wherever he went (and i cannot remember his name, but he’s a fat guy who wears glasses.) Hitler recieved severe damage to his nervous system because of all the drugs his phony doctor was giving him. Before hitler died, he was taking a drug that dealt with Parkinsans Disease.

      please excuse my spelling!

And about the smoking, i think you are right. i believe he didn’t want smoking on U-boats, though they smoke two packs a day on them!

Hitler did kill his dog blondie, with a cyanide capsule. That dog was amazing, on a video of mine, hitler throws a bone over a 12 foot wall, and the dog jumps over and retrieves it. Too bad it just didn’t walk around it…
