The kicker is this, though: there was no poop actually in the toilet bowl. Everywhere else, but not there. What WAS in the toilet was his soiled underwear that he had abandoned.

I’m not a trash talker but I laugh so hard at my friend when he rolls crap dice and just swears at his roll like he just burned his hands or something.

What do you guys do, if anything that would be interpreted as trash talk?

I’m the friend rolling crap dice and it is friggin annoying when you roll 19 dice and get 2-3 hits.  It tends to chap a mans ass once in awhile.  My 5 yr old loves to roll dice for hkytown1 and myself and he rolls worse than I do, gets 1’s, 2’s and 3’s.  We call him the cooler.

Coming from someone that has no talent or time or desire to paint these pieces, a big “thanks” to you all.

We the consumers would since they would both be lowering prices to compete against each other.

Nice, It could have been the lighting, the pieces, or the alcohol, but everytime we played that new map style (AA50 to present) the boarders were just to hard to distinguish.  I really didn’t want to do it at first so I guinea pigged the first 42 game and I was pretty impressed.  We have never had any issues with the original Europe or Pacific boards, or Revised.

The only parts of the map I trace are Germany and Russia, everything else is clearly defined.

The warspite goes for soo much because of class limits (5-6 I think) and it was in the set task force which commands the most money.  Its a decent ship but not one that see’s alot of play because it lacks torpedo defence.

If you can paint they are no shapeways for like 20.00

Hey, any new news on the re-release of Fortress America?  I see it’s being released in March.  Most of my AA buddies don’t like this game but there is something so cool about “farming machinery converted into hovertanks in Minneapolis”

Have had Allied victories, just not the last two. My wife was unlucky.
Never thought of defence in depth though. Having a stop line like you described. Will look at it later tonight.

And to all of you guys here helping us that used to play AA 1998 and iron blitz that now own an xp.  I played my first game last night and had a blast.  My wife yelled at me to get off the computer just like the old days when I ran the cd’s….Awesome!

I’ve just bought the game recently and found that it could be a great starter for potential wargamers. As frimmel said, it’s quick, fun and fairly easy to learn.

Playing this with a few friends has them at least interested in trying a game of AA41. From there, maybe 1942 or anniversary.
