OK, so I guess I’ll just reset it every time it gets to 30. Thanks guys. Exact same rules apply.
Does 30 sound like a good amount, by the way?

And is anyone able to vote more than once? If not, I’ll reset the poll every (30? Does that seem about right?) voters and keep track of the numbers.
But they can’t take a capital, which is how the Allies win. Right? Did I misread the rules again…?
I’m not sure this poll will work the way I want it to. I’m completely new to Forum Polls.
EDIT: Well, you could just give the victory to whichever nation contributed most to the victory.
PLEASE READ BEFORE VOTING
This poll is very simple. Who won your LATEST game, and which nation on that side managed to win the game by taking the last VC (Axis) or Axis Capital (Allies)? If the victory was won through an enemy surrender, switch the second part of the question with, which nation contributed most to the victory? Now, a few more things…
First off, do NOT abuse this poll. Its first and foremost purpose is to enlighten the Forums as to which side is winning more, and how it’s changes over time. For example, for now I’m sure that the Allies will have an edge, but sooner or later I think that this will even out.
Second, for now, no matter how many games you have played up until the point of this poll being made, only vote once about your latest game. Every game you play after that vote, please vote again. You have unlimited votes, but again, please do not abuse this power. Will changing the results of this poll really help you at all? In fact, it will only hurt the Axis and Allies Forums community as a whole.
Third, this is my first poll, so please forgive me if I messed something up.
Fourth, only select one option. I messed that up, to start. :-P Thank you very much for voting!
EDIT: OK, I’m resetting the poll every 30 voters. First reset just happened. On this post I shall have the records for each 30 voters. Same rules apply to this way of doing things. Only vote if you haven’t voted yet or if you’ve played a Global game since the last time you voted.

While I still don’t have enough experience to say whether or not it is effective, I think that a KGF/KIF/KJF would ruin the game in terms of fun, just like a J3 India Crush in Pacific '40.
Last Man Standing! I like it.
Something tells me, that me and you are the only ones that think so.
I actually like it too, particularly Japan vs. Italy and Germany. I think this particular scenario would work pretty well too, as they will likely control roughly equivalent IPCs.
Does anyone think any of these (Kill Japan First, Kill Germany First, Kill Italy First) are feasible in Global? As in, have the Allies concentrate almost all of their efforts on killing on one Axis country, and more or less ignore the other ones?
G1 just build cv and 2 AP, and UK wastes the Italian fleet, then Germany wastes UK. Game over.
Should be like 10 minutes. Don’t even set up the other pieces
this isnt true. sea lion wont work. its a flawed plan that should never even be used
:?
Whaaat?
Why not? Sea Lion has worked for Germany in the games I’ve played, and whenever it succeeded it led to victory.
Sounds like an awesome game! I wish my group could find the time to play a whole Global game… :-(
Tankograd and Heavy Industry are too powerful, especially when combined. Heavy Industry really should be changed, as someone else already said. Maybe allow Minor ICs to build 5 units per turn and Majors to build 15?
Other than that, these look great!! Well done!
2 house rules my group used to blosk this after we figured this out 2 days ago was that when london is taken US goes to war because cmon… if it was the US congress would totally go to war… and Canada can still buy thing with their $7… not a lot for england but it helps
Canada only gets 6 IPCs in Europe… unless you were playing Global?
I really like that House Rule though. Helps the Allies recover from a Sea Lion, if only just a little bit.
FOUR people voted France? Weird. I mean, France would be my favourite if they weren’t doomed to be useless by their first turn. I mean, the colonial infantry and the sparse ships could win a battle or two, but nothing beyond that.
@The:
Yeah like reward cards.
For a game where everyone plays each power you could give the player with the best att and best def points a prize or they could get extra units at the start of your next game.
I.E.
Random guy 1
SU: 53 ATT points
FRA: 7 ATT points
Ger: 123 ATT points
…
Total att points: xNext game gets extra units
Next GAME or next ROUND?
I said Italy because they can go from 10 IPCs to 40+ if the dice Gods are favourable in the first round and, of course, if they are controlled by an competent commander.
I’m surprised so few said Japan. I’d say they’re my second favourite.
I’d say that railways should be able to move any land units up to 4 spaces, but only from railway counter to railway counter. In addition, they should only be able to move up to (3?4?5?) units per turn. However, this may unbalance things considerably.
Only the two subs. My team mate decided to take the very risky risk and it definitely payed off in the long run. If it had failed, the Allies might have won simply due to the fact that Italy would have been slowed down considerably, and then Germany probably would have lost the Battle for Stalingrad, as their attack really slowed after Leningrad.
I haven’t done Global yet, only Europe. Just for the record, I played 1 Europe game that was an Axis win.
Deciding factors: sinking of the Gibraltar fleet on G1, successful G2 Sea Lion (in short, dice for the first couple turns). It was SO much fun to see both of these things, especially since I was Italy. 8-) After Sea Lion I just bulldozed the remaining colonial troops of headless France and headless Britain. I was so successful as Italy I managed to take Stalingrad and win the game!! :-D
@WILD:
It seems to me that Russia holds all the cards here.
a) They can move their 18 inf out of harms way R1 (before Japs turn).
b) Russia wants to be at war w/someone early (maybe w/o conflict) to take some of the pro neutrals (gets boring waiting for Germany).
c) Being at war w/someone is also part of their 5ipc NO.
d) Japan has many other problems on the table that are more pressing to be a real threat to the Siberian front early on.
e) If Jap backs off on Manchuria, Russia could be a problem (especially if US is anywhere near).Russia has a lot of advantages to being at war early (at least a phony war).
Its really in Japans best interest to not be at war w/Russia, so it can make other attacks, and not have to worry about the Soviets (kinda like Pac40).
So why would the Russia player agree to anything w/Jap player. As I said the Russia player holds all the cards IMO, as long as you don’t do something stupid and loose those 18 Siberia inf. I would keep the Jap player guessing. The only way I would agree on cutting a deal is to give the Japs a false sense of security, then when their not paying attention pound them, but by that time you will have lost a chance at the 5ipc at war bonus, and not be getting to those neutrals.
If I was Russia I’d declare war on Japan, move all my infantry to Sakha and only move them out should Amur or Siberia be taken, or if Manchuria or Korea are left particularly weak. Since there are absolutely NO repercussions for being at war with Japan, I don’t see why Russia wouldn’t declare war. You don’t have to actually attack Japan to be at war with them.
And so the Great Debate starts….“the best G1 purchases and moves are…”! :-)
And so the GRAND BELLYACHING begins. Noone is happy with anything in this forum. For chrissakes…
ANYWAYS, the Italian Navy only dies if Germany allows it to. IF on G1 the German Luftwaffe hits SZ 110 and the Germans send 2 U-boats to SZ 106 and 3 to SZ 109 it leaves the British in a very tough situation. If it sacrifices that carrier (and especially destroyer) to kill the Italian Navy then it will undergo 3 IPC convoy disrupt from Canada and 6(!) IPC convoy disrupt from UK itself. That is 9 bucks A TURN for potentially a very long time.
Besides, the Italians get two different sea zones with transports if I’m not mistaken so at least one should probably survive even with an all-out UK assault. AND after Italy takes Greece and Southern France and grabs Egypt, and when the Germs or Japs get their air force around to killing the Allies’ Med fleet, they get 27 BUCKS A TURN. That’s no small amount in my humble estimation. Cruiser/Destroyer/Transport every turn.
Though maybe I’m just a complete idiot and you whiners are the smart people in the room. I must be totally wrong about this because noone here ever complains if there isn’t a great reason to.
I do not know you, but I like you Robbie.
Let’s hope you’re right about the Italian navy. Italy looks so exciting to play… :-D
Krieghund, can subs pass through the Bosporus Straight while Turkey is a strict neutral?
