      Yah, I agree with you.  Especially in the situation provided where there was literally 0% chance of success.  The sub attack was simply an “Offensive fodder” attack done to make the fighter move “quasi-legitimate”.

      To me (on a personal level) the rules should stipulate that Carriers be required to move during the combat phase into the only potential landing zone and thus force the attacking player to win the secondary battle in order to ensure the fighter can land.  Otherwise this just enables people to do this kind of weak ass fodder tactic in order to get to the transports  that would otherwise be out of range.  This would then also mean that an attacker has to potentially sacrifice very valuable units (carriers) to accomplish these kind of delaying actions.

      Just my opinion though.

      Pretty weak rule IMHO.

      Maybe I am misunderstanding the situation…

      But I thought that Air combat moves requires the safe return of the aircraft to a landing spot to be 100% guaranteed in order to make the move.  I thought that having a landing spot become available based on the outcome of a secondary battle during the same combat phase rendered the move illegal regardless of the odds for the secondary battle (ie. even if a victory is assured [only possible using Low Luck]).  Otherwise you are considered to be potentially making a Kamikaze attack that is strictly prohibited within the game.

      There is no SZ # in the SZ directly north of 94.

      Additionally I would recommend that you eliminate the 4 way intersection between SZ 92, 97, 94 and the unmarked SZ.

      Well if the N.O. is meant to reflect “Lend & Lease” supplies given to Russia to fight the Nazi’s then shouldn’t Russia only be eligible to receive the N.O. IF they are war with Germany?  Because if the N.O. is meant to reflect  Lend & Lease then the Lend & Lease only happens if Russia is fighting Germany.  Supplies weren’t sent to Russia for no reason.  Just my opinion.

      TripleA allows the Soviets to collect the SZ125/Archangel NO when at war with Italy (but still neutral to Germany) even if a German sub is in SZ125.

      According to Kreighund, the presence of a German warship prevents the collection of that NO even if Germany isn’t at war with the Soviets.

      Logically that makes no sense.  Why on earth would a German vessel in the S.Z. negate the N.O. if they are not combatants?  Germany can’t take a territory from Russia if it’s not at war with them.  So why would it affect the S.Z. if they are not at war?

      Take a copy of the image you like and save it somewhere on your computer.

      Go into your Triple A.  You can either change it for one game or you can change it for all the games.

      If you want to change it for one particlar game you can replace the image in the “units” folder inside the Map folder.

      If you want to change the image for all games then you can go into the “assets” folder in triple A and go into the “Units” folder.

      It all depends on whether the game you are playing has its own “unit” folder or not.  If a game has its own unit folder then the unit images have to be changed in that.  If the game has no units folder it will draw images from the Triple A unit folder.

      The changing of unit images is also dependent on how the games you have, have been installed.  If all your games are still zipped then there may be other steps involved.

      Here are some examples of how unit images can be redone to help make everything more distinguishable.

      But if you are trying to do it yourself then you can go to the Triple A development forum and find the thread that has the entire repository of unit images (more or less) made for Triple A.

      Once you have that file you can simply open the map folder for your favorite game then open the unit folder and go into each team and replace any units you feel you’d like to see different.

      Important!!! Any units you replace must have the identical name of the original.  If the name is not the same as it was then your game will crash every time Triple A tries to draw the image for that unit.
