      Did anyone else have problems with the game board itself? When I opened the box the map/game board was fine, however the next morning the plates were warped, so much that I could slide my pinky under the middle portion of each panel… I’m guessing it had something to do with the box being sealed in more humidity than at my home. Can’t seem to get the panels straight/unwarped no matter what I try.

      Thanks everyone for your replies, I finished last night. Really happy with how these turned out.

      @Private:

      which I use from time to time to ask whether they’ll ever have factories available again.

      I managed to snatch 5 pieces from HBG the other day and then 12 pieces from ebay for 5$.

    • RE: French Liberation

      It’s always bothered me how liberating France sets the allies back. US/UK losing the IC’s in Normandy & S.France as well as any liberated French territories. Seems to me the liberation of France should be something the allies really want to achieve!

    • RE: Painting IC's

      @Young:

      I spray painted mine because I’m a Neanderthal like that, and I definitely regret not coating them with something because the black paint is rubbing onto my minor gray ICs now.

      That’s exactly what I was afraid might happen. Thanks, good to know buying the varnish was worth it.

      Those look amazing cyanight! Do you varnish all the pieces after painting or is it perhaps not necessary?  :-)

    • Painting IC's

      I’m going to be painting 12 of my Industrial Complexes from older editions of A&A completely black and then applying gloss varnish to keep the paint from chipping/peeling off. The other 17 IC’s I have are going to remain grey to be used as minor IC’s.

      Have any of you done something like this? Any tips?

      I’ll post pics when I’m done.

    • RE: The Ultimate A&A War Bunker?

      @CWO:

      if the Imperial War Museum still operates its “Blitz Experience” feature (if I recall the name correctly), I recommend it.

      Didn’t see it when I went there last summer, but I might just have missed it.

      Will do, btw YG I have to say I’ve quite enjoyed your youtube videos on A&A. The lack of material on youtube can sometimes be frustrating when you just want to immerse yourself in the hobby without actually playing through a full game. Keep up the good work!

      Reykjavik, Iceland. Pictured are 3/6 members of our A&A gaming group Ikarus (Operation Ikarus was a World War II German plan to invade Iceland for those unfamiliar with it)  :-)

    • Best place to bomb Japan from?

      Doing a KJF strategy playing as the US, what have you found to be the best place to SBR Tokyo from?

      USSR territories?
      Iwo Jima?
      Mainland Asia?
      Somewhere else?

    • Store in london?

      Hello everyone, so im going to London for a few days, i was wondering if anyone could recommend any boardgame/cardgame shops? Maybe some place where i could possibly buy old A&A games or some Flames of War boxes?  :-)

    • RE: IC in Romania

      Yeah, Mech usually takes over as the dominant land unit in the German army as it draws closer to Moscow. I think you are right in that those 30 IPCs needed for the IC would probably be better used for massive Inf/Art buys in R1. Those units are vital for the push to Moscow. Perhaps a Minor Industrial Complex could work better?
