      Take for Instance the A1 Skyraider, we show a torpedo, which it did carry, and bombs and missiles. (Carrier fighter or Tac Bomber)
      HBG will use it as a Tac Bomber in an upcoming set.

      HBG has always wanted to add simple ordinance just for this BUT, NOT everybody paints their pieces, NOT every knows their aircraft, NOT everybody even cares, they just want to play, so HBG has tried to offer many different pieces as well as sizes for the various players. Global 1936 WILL have optional rules for Land and Carrier aircraft so we will have some pieces showing the torpedoes and bombs.

      Nice Coach!

      Problem is we are all nerds (and perfectionists) here and if we have a group with whom we play, they wouldn’t be and it would be too much tfor them to understsnd and appreciate.
      We can still dream and hope we can change the inaccuracies.

      it makes the game more fun when one knows the hardware!

      @SS:

      I been using for Japan the OOB color for reg fighters, red for veteran fighters, and dark yellow for naval fighters and dive bombers. US is using OOB color for reg fighters and dark green for naval fighters and dive bombers. I can tell pretty good what they are. Japan and US are the only countries that have those planes for now in game.

      Unless HBG add these to the bottom of Carrier Based Tac Bombers and a Bomb to fighter, so any ordinance would be carrier based.

      Coach,

      Just shooting out an idea, but is there any possibility of HBG selling cardboard glider tokens? Personally I like the concept of having them in the game but I also understand that what ever HBG produces has to be profitable and match demand. The airborne markers are cool, but a silhouette of a glider on a token would be a nice representation and would be much less time and money than a run of sculpts.

      Depends on the demand, you are the first to ask about the idea.

      @jwo1984:

      Thanks for the comments guys appreciate them! Cyanight, looking forward too seeing your british air units when you get the chance, have really enjoyed your work. I really need to get decals too, I hate having too hand bomb the roundles, hopefully john browns union jack source will pull through! CoachofMany thank you for the offer! I love your guys work and hope you keep turning out new pieces and enjoy what we bring too your sculps!  Spitefire38, thanks for the compliment, yes the lines on the wings of the hurricanes, swordfish, and stirling are all free hand.  I have been trying too play around with adding somemore details too the great sculpts.  The stirling bomber of course is quite massive with a large wing so painting a few panel lines wasn’t too bad….I think they add too the ruggedness of these old beautiful birds! I also wanted the hurricanes too look a little rugged as they were the workhorse of the RAF! Same goes for the sword fish bi plane. I really think a good canopy can bring the sculpt too life! so I try and get the best lines I can, the hurricanes are really small so dry brushing them was really tough!

      Thanks again guys, will post more units as I finish them.  check out spitefire38’s Japanese infantry if you haven’t yet…they are steller!

      Starting next week, we will start carrying I-94 Decals for our models. We have them in stock, just getting them up on the website, give us a few more days.

      I work all the time on it, either designing markers, games, banners, units, models, website, etc plus my other guys who work on things. We have the next 3 years mapped out, now we just need to hit the lottery to make everything!

      Your right Hoffman, I had a brain fart there and not enough coffee, LOL. I understand what your saying. I was excited about it for a long time, because it was on the pictures. I know it will come when it comes, but a person can hope.

      Your right, there are pieces that need to come before it, probably. :-)

      Eh, it happens. I am very excited for them too. There are certain individual units that I am particularly interested in, but the whole process is a lot of fun.

      To me, the order in which they come out does not matter so much. The folks at HBG certainly have a logical reasoning for their process.

      Coach, there is just not enough hours in the day is there, LOL? :-D

      @John:

      Coach, if your taking out the Midway Class carrier out of the US set, what set will it be in, or is it going in the Midway boxed game?

      This was the piece that I was looking forward to the most.

      I want to be on the look out for this piece.

      Thanks,

      John

      I would imagine it would just be in a  future US set. God knows, there are plenty more US pieces out there that we all would like to see (even HBG remakes of OOB units). I doubt that the Midway-class would be with the Midway game, since those carriers were not built until the end of and after the war. A Midway game would include Yorktown, Enterprise and Hornet.

      Speaking of which… cannot say enough how I am looking forward to the Yorktown class when it comes around! Amen, Amen! I am eternally satisfied.

      Midway Class carrier and Montana Class Battleship will be in the Allied Super-weapon Set.
      We are realigning these sets, working on some things.
