RE: Jagdpanzer IV L/70, STUG III extended range?posted in Miniatures (Original)
What i was wondering, dont these 2 tanks have the extended range? I mean the jagdpanzer has the same pak42 then the panther.
The Stug III had a 75L/24, 75L/43, and a 75L/48 in later models; but the Panther had a 75L70 which gave it the long range punch like the Tiger 1 88L/56.
The Panther is my favorite WW2 tank! -
Ship camouflage, where to find?posted in House Rules
I am wanting to find camouflage schemes for ships so I can paint my stuff but usually can only find:

RE: Rail Gun Rules?posted in House Rules
How about this.
The rail gun fires one space every other round of combat. So if you are fighting 4 rounds, it would fire twice.Attack 5 (A little stronger than a Battleship)
Defend 1 (They usually had AA assigned to them)
Move 1 -
RE: Rail Gun Rules?posted in House Rules
Thanks for the History lesson IL.
I am quite aware of their use and massive amounts of manpower that was used to move, assemble fire, and guard these guns.
Germany did a lot of “Big Bertha” kind of stuff.
It is no different than house rules using the “Maus” I have seen posted.Again,
Does anybody have any house rules using “Rail Guns”
Thanks, -

@Brain:
Sweeet. Waiting for pics…
Me too. Is this giving you ideas, Viracocha, for your next paint project.
It’s all about feeding off one another!
There are some great painters here.
I am not a great painter, just and idea man! :-) -
RE: Neutral Armiesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
The Chinese Nationalist have a light green base where as the Communist Chinese have a darker green that still ties them in as Chinese but looks a bit darker like the Russian green bases.
I had someone paint my Chinese but pulled the project and started painting them myself. They painted the Chinese Communist with Black Uniforms, I left them but they should be a blue. I will post a picture of what I have so far. I even have Russian Cossacks! :-) just in case there is a house rule for them. -
RE: Neutral Armiesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@Imperious:
OMG what?
Why?
Because I want to!How will you tell them apart?
I am painting all my infantry with Historically accurate uniforms, the bases are painted a uniform color.
The Neutrals & minors will be the same except for Dutch, Poland, Free french, etc.
There is a plan! -

RE: Large scale AA42 mapposted in Axis & Allies Spring 1942 Edition
IL,
If there was 10 people that wanted your map printed on heavy stock, laminated both sides, i can get it done for less than $75.00 each plus shipping. It might be even cheaper,the next proce break is at 25 and it drop to $63.00. I could check! It is your call IL ! 33" X64", or I could go 36" X 70".
Let me know IL, I am not interested in the 42 map but I do like the AAHE50. -

RE: Large scale AA42 mapposted in Axis & Allies Spring 1942 Edition
@Imperious:
Just don’t sell them on ebay like the last time :-D
I make these for your personal use, not a business.
It went with the 50th Anniversary game. I did not profit from it!

RE: Large scale AA42 mapposted in Axis & Allies Spring 1942 Edition
Hey guys, I’m going to post my own topic, but I wanted to post it on here since so many people have been talking here. I have IL’s map and another map. I live in the USA…I went to FEDEX/Staples and asked them to quote printing out IL’s map (72.5in by 36.5in) and another map that was already split up into 12 sections of 22in x 15in pdf pages. They quoted each at almost $300. That is WAYYY more than I wanted to pay to print them out.
I was looking for tips/files/instructions/offers to print/anything that would make it easier to get a big map printed so my friend and I can start playing. If anyone has these maps split into 8.5in by 11in letter paper sections, that would be PERFECT. Or if you know how to split pdfs into sections, that would be fantastic.
Any suggestions would be more than welcome.
Please please please get back to me! Thank you!
I have a place that will print it 36"x 72" one pice lamineted, for $110.00 each if I print three.
They give me a discount because we use them for our work ay my job.
