IL,
I am using your template for 3/4" round (24) per sheet and ran into a problem.
When I print the sheet, my roundel is about 1/16" off center to the left.
Have you run into this problem, any suggestions?
Thanks,

RE: Neutral Armiesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
Even though I want the Neutral armies painted with the correct uniform color, thes bases will be white.
I have a set that I play with now that all the Neutral are just sprayed white and I really like that.
I am trying to finish up a country so I can post some pictures.
I have the following:France Colonial - Completed
French Vichy - Completed
Dutch - Completed
Chinese (Nationalist) - Completed
Chinese (Communist) - Completed
Italians - 50% done
Russians - 75% done
Germans - 25% done -
RE: Minor Axis & Allied Powersposted in House Rules
Working on revised set up charts for this variant that take into account the new AAP40 rule introductions including:
- Revising Mech Infantry stats/capabilites
- Tac Bomber
- Revised China Rules
- Updated Unit costs and stats
- Captial Ships
- The addition of the ANZAC pewter color units allow for clear distinction between UK (use AA50 UK units); ANZAC (use ANZAC AAP40 units) and India (Use light green UK units from revised edition)
I will post the updates when ready.
How are the charts coming?

Has anybody made their own Roundels for AAA?
Do you have any pictures of them completed?
I am getting ready to make some Canadian, Indian, Australian, etc of my own. -
RE: Global War 1940/41posted in Global War
I understand it as if you start on the Railway , infantry can move 2, and tanks & mech can move 3.
Also I think I read that it can be used by the enemy in the same way whch I disagree with.Maybe someone who has played this more than once will know more.

They are in the setup charts for Deaths head variant.
They fought the same time the British did.Axis and Allies.org Boards > Axis & Allies > Other Axis & Allies Variants (Moderators: dezrtfish, DarthMaximus, Guerrilla Guy) > Axis & Allies Global War Complete Game + Map

RE: Global War 1940/41posted in Global War
Please clarify this unit.
Does this mean if there are 4 infantry present, only one infantry is at 3 or less and the others are are 2?
Land and sea attack?Fortification:
Cost: 6 IPC
Move: -
Attack: -
Defend: 3
Two key benefits for this unit:- Roll 2 dice at 3 or less per Fortification during 1st round of Amphibious Assault against attacking land units
- For each Fortification, increase 1 infantry defense to “3”
Other rules:
This unit cannot be destroyed and can be taken over and used if the territory is taken by the enemy.
Stacking is allowed up to the respective IPC of the territory

Yes, Free french were Blue, Vichy were dark grey, Romania was yellow,
I might change some colors for next game and have the roundels for the added countries. -
RE: Global War 1940/41posted in Global War
Just played our first game.
Axis dominated the game, UK could not get a foothold to even start a Navy without Germany pouncing on it.
Russia could not stop Germany from advancing. India held their own against Japan with Australia’s help.
Everybody love the game, but wondered if the Axis was favored too much?
Questions:1. Each side lost thier last pieces in a Naval Batlle with only transports left on both sides, are they destroyed?
2. Minor Axis rule, leaving one unit in home country, does the build count as this or do you always leave one behind?
3. What are the limits of the Chinese territories that they can advance to?
4. forts defend with two dice of three or less on first round as well as each infantry unit on a 3 also, please clarify. -
RE: Global War 1940/41posted in Global War
I think the China rules are like AA50 and Pacific 1940.
I agree, I wish there were rules in ONE place so we could all see them instead of fragmented throughout.
We are playing tonight! I will post pictures this weekend and give some insight on gameplay. -

I like Panzer Gray or Grey to represent the German Army not Black.

Where do I down load the most up-to-date files on this? First page?
This looks great!
I managed to sift through and find some excel files that have the setup plus a “variant” setup.
I am trying the first 1942 setup. -

RE: Global Gaming Tableposted in Customizations
How large is the board area?
What’s the symbol between Germany and China though?][/[/quote]
its the Union Jack (difficult to burn into wood). we wanted an additional roundel to make it look more balanced. thats why the canadian roundel was used. the french and italian are the same thing
another pic
this one you can see the back of the dice tower (when finished, it will actually fold into the table). suede was used for the interior and bottom of the tower. on the same side of the table you’ll see the smaller pockets for chip holders (suede was also used for the bottom) 5 pockets on each side of the table that match the boxes that came with the FMG Ammo Box, (plus the china box and additional U.S. box). 3 pockets on the opposite end that fit the 3 misc. boxes that came with FMG Ammo Box.

RE: AA50 Themed Dice Towersposted in Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition
very Nice!
I also would be interested in some.I have built some dice towers with an Axis and Allies theme. Six towers (one for each player in Anniversary edition) and each tower represents their own nation.
Took me a while to get them all done since they were created from scratch but they turned out great.
I will post some pictures shortly. I still have to clear coat them and still add some felt to completely finish them but I will post some pictures before I do this.
…although I will have to creat a couple more for ANZAC and France for the new Pacific and Europe 1940 games.
