What I personally see is, they are working on everything else than finishing the set we already put our money a year and a half ago. I won’t preordering anything until I receive the stuff that I already preorder. Also it conflicts with the info above that they already work on too many projects that why there is a delay on the current preorders. I remember a couple years ago, they told us, there isn’t going to be a preorder option till the set is 2-3 months away from being released. You can throw that out of the window.

We are working on items that we can, we have NO control of the Chinese factory so instead of doing nothing, we choose to develop other items in the meantime. As you have noticed, we have not asked for pre-order on other items until “Amerika” and U.S. sets start shipping.

Since Wizards of the Coast is not supplying prizes this year at Gencon, Greg asked if we could step it up on prizes so we sent a boat load of prizes plus one “Amerika” game. I told Greg that the game is the box, board, rules, etc but NO playing pieces. We will send the winner the pieces after our Kickstarter backers have received theirs but we wanted to take care of the AAA community and help Greg out. I am sure it does not hurt to advertise “Amerika” as a prize at Gencon since since we started the project our costs have nearly doubled. Thanks for all the support you have given HBG over the years.

I have a question about this item from HBG Newsletter #38 (July 2015), which arrived in my mailbox this morning:

“The boxed game we’ve been working on is finally coming together! Plastic is in from China (round 2) and we are quality checking and assembling games over the next month. These will soon be going out to the great Kickstarter backers that have endured a long journey beside us to finish this up. Once all of our backers’ items have been shipped, we can focus on getting this game to more of you. Here are a few pics from the QC process. That’s a lot of grey plastic!”

All the pieces shown in the pictures are indeed grey. Is this because we’re only seeing German units? The HBG page for the Amerika game shows the German pieces are planned to be grey but the American pieces are planned to be green and the Japanese pieces are planned to be orange.

Correct:

Germany: Grey
Allies: Green
Japanese: Pumpkin Orange

I had a chance to see some pieces of U-85 on display at the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras, NC while on vacation last month (I encourage you guys to take a look if you’re ever in the area).

28 of the German sailors who died when U-85 sank are buried at Hampton National Cemetery in Virginia.

Over 2000 years ago, the generic cross was a symbol of oppressive Roman rule.

Somehow the Christians forgave the oppression, overcame it, and then adopted that cross as a symbol, and now, it labels just about every church that I drive by.

The oppressive rules of Dixie slavery were overcome over 150 years ago.
I am not sure if or when the abolitionists will take any symbols from that era to represent the freedom enjoyed by citizens today.

My personally view is against the divisive balkanization of this great country. That can lead to decades of chaos here, creating refugees, who depart for better countries. It happened in my grandparents old country, where the communists eventually took over.

Jesus did say there is no impact to love your friends and hate your enemies … such an attitude makes a believer no better than a tax collector, who already loves at that level. However to LOVE your ENEMIES, that striving is what prepares a believer for perfection, as heaven is perfect, and the Father is perfect.

Maybe the former slaves can take up the generic cross as well…

Last time I read about it, it suppose to be released after the Amerika game which it hasnt yet. I think the us set its about 3 months late as of now, Im really concern that coach ran into problems with the chinese factory. He is the only one to clarify whats the problem and its taking so long for the us set.

We have another batch in the works and should have it in 4-5 weeks.

For some reason , our pieces have slowed way down. We are trying to expedite the 2 sets.

Wild Bill, I think it was bumped to this Summer. I could be wrong, but I thought I heard Coach say it. Maybe, he can confirm it, for us.

Amerika plastic just finished, boxing up and getting ready to send to us.
U.S. pieces just went through test mold phase and should be sending me the plastic trial run for me to approve and start mass production.
