    • RE: Minor Axis Army Pieces

      @dadler12:

      First of all let me register my excitement and support of this project, new pieces are more than welcome!  Second, my I suggest a tech/advanced/late war unit set?  I think this would sell very well, I know I would buy it. Thirdly, what is the estimated time frame for this product?  I only ask because I think the FMG project is going on year 2 now if I am correct, and it’s been something of a tease to say the least.

      I do not want to come across as not caring but I am afraid to give too much information because of several reasons.
      1. FMG has had a long road with their project and if I give you a week by week schedule, I could have the same problems.
      2. I have alrady set in motion the sets I am doing, some because of costs involved, as since I am filling FMG holes, I have to wait on them.
      3. I will be doing all major powers (supplement to FMG), minor powers, and special sets like a second German supplement set aside from my first.
      4. i can assure you that I will pace polls from time to time on this site to gather feedback.
      5. I have been playing for 25 years, as well as micro armor and also a huge military history buff!

      I planned on just waiting until I have the pieces in hand before I show you pictures. It will be about 4 months or sooner….I hope!

      Yes, that is why I chose the 38t as the light tank, both German and minors used them. As the medium tank, I will do the PzIII, I will add a pz IVH , the one with the side skirts as a supplement set later on. It gets too expensive to try to give all the minors their own tank sculpts , instead find one that will work for them all.
      I can add a pzIV with the PzIII, but it is still a medium tank.

      I would add the PzIV with side skirts to depict a later war medium tank.

      I appreciate the time to look up these items.
      I have also been looking.
      Maybe I should supply Pz III and early war PzIV with minors, of course they are so similar.

      Look at this Dr !

      Yes, I am ditching both the Hummel and heavy artillery and adding them to a supplement set.
      As of now I am going with a field hat with rifle and n36 helmet with pazerfaust.

    • RE: Coolest looking armored vehicle!??? and why???

      @Benerfe:

      Elefant. The most succesful Tank Destroyer imo.

      Battle of Kursk’s MVP!

      Not really. Germans got their butts kicked at Kursk.
      Elefant could not defend themselves at close range, no machine gun for one and too many fast moving T34’s closing the range on them taking away the advantage of their 88’s.

      I think the Stug wa a more effective TD.
      IMHO.

    • RE: Axis and Allies Game timer

      @Imperious:

      I would like somebody to get it and customize it for AA with logos. Perhaps each side could have the turn phase marked and logos and camo pattern on the sides?

      This timer retails for $50.00
      I love it but how many people would order one?

      @SSPanther:

      What do you guys out there think about the concept towed artillery, that is mechanized infantry being able to move artillery with it on a 1:1 basis?

      We use that rule too….makes sense.

      @GoSanchez6:

      Hey Coach I went to your site and ordered but I couldn’t find any actual pieces for AAguns or Industrial Complexes. Do you have them and I missed them? If not are you getting some. Thanks Dave. Oh and Coach for Japan which might be cool would be the rising sun with some Japanese writing on it. I have seen movies and documenteries that they had that on the flag. BTW great job on the web site. Look forward to the upcoming products

      @knp7765:

      @FieldMarshalGames:

      @Shakespeare:

      Should have made them in the United States.

      Not sure anyone would want to pay $69.99 per set rather than $29.99.  Thats just the reality.

      I am sure Jeremey checked, and you can be assured that a mold will cost you 8-10 times the price quoted in China. I have checked also.

      Ah, there’s a big sticking point.  I hear so many people talking about “Buy American”  “Save American Jobs” and saying that you don’t love your country if you buy foreign manufactured stuff.  Yet the majority of those same people balk at the price they have to pay.  It’s a simple fact of life that you can make stuff so much cheaper in places like China and Mexico.  Unfortunately, it’s usually so much cheaper that you are willing to put up with the delays and unreliability of the manufacturer to get your stuff at such a reduced cost.

      Just curious Jeremy, did you actually get some price quotes from US factories?

    • RE: New sculpts for Marines Poll

      @Monroe:

      Coach,

      Thanks for the effort to develop House Rule sculpts!

      Based on playability and function in a House Rules version, I vote Marine Infantry.

      Interesting feedback, I might have to package just the Marines in a pack and sell the LVT, corsair, and artillery separately.

    • RE: New sculpts for Marines Poll

      This is why I tend to stay away from polling.
      I take a simple question and feel that I am clarifying that it is a Marine infantry piece, and I am hounded for the nomenclature. I feel people tend to stray away from the actual question at hand.

    • New sculpts for Marines Poll

      Looking to make new sculpts for US Marines with the dark green color from Pacific 2001 game.
      What pieces would you like to see in the bag of pieces.
      Only vote for the ones you think should be in for Marines and not just because you want them as US units, these will be dark green.

    • RE: 1939 Map

      Map is a Free Download on my site and the AAA threads, it always has been
      I only offer the map for sale for printing, since I can print it cheaper than most other people can.

      @Deaths:

      I like the Map Coach, I do think all the roundels Clutter it up a bit to much though.

      Also, I don’t think you should Sell this Map. You got the Template for free. (from Me)
      It should be a free down load, for anyone to have.  Just Cause you Covered up the A&A Buy chart with roundels doesn’t make it right, or changing the color of territories.

      I did not charge for my map, and all you did was alter it a bit and are charging $ for this?
      Just not right in my book, but whatever.

      I guess I should have charged people as well (over 1500 Downloads of original file), But I just wanted to share this Beautiful artwork and Game concept with as many people as possible.

      I do like where you are going with this, but Disagree with charging people for it

    • RE: Minor Axis Army Pieces

      IL,
      This thread is for the Axis Minor nations, not what the whole game needs.
      I am starting with Germany and it’s Minors and going from there. My plans are to coincide with FMG units, supplement their set and along the way pick up other Nations like Canada, and minors like the Dutch. If FMG does not do Airborne, I will.
      Thanks
