I am going to use yellow Germans for Spain.
I painted me some German pieces red for turkey.
I have some white pieces painted from Russian pieces for Poland.
What do you think about a plum color for Spain?
Looks great!!!

RE: Coach should make these roundels?posted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
I am curious. In regards to tokens such as “Shock Troops”, “Partisans” and “Guards”, would you use regular infantry pieces and place one of these tokens next to them to show they are not regular infantry?
Also, if you have “Shock Troop” tokens, shouldn’t you also have “Waffen SS” tokens? I don’t think we currently have anything to distinquish between the two, unless you are using both black and grey German pieces.
I made SS tokens.

RE: Roundels for Axis & Alliesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
You can now purchase a single roundel for $0.30 each instead of buying a whole sheet or 20, but buying a sheet of 20 is a bit cheaper per Roundel.
Thanks for your support. -
RE: Minor Axis Army Piecesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
I am still going back and forth on numbers, I have to wait for final costs from the factory before I can pin down a price.
Marines will be my next set followed by the US.
I have to stay with FMG to supplement his sets, but the plan is to sneak in some minor sets in between his.
I do plan on doing some ship variations starting with the US.
I need to see what FMG has finalized on their choices before I decide but a escort carrier is a must to do. -

RE: Minor Axis Army Piecesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
38 my is a light tank and used by the minors more than a panzer II .
I will do a panzer II in the next set. -

The first mold will have a sculpt of these pieces. The numbers have not been worked out. These will be done in (4) color for Axis Minors plus Black, Italian brown, and FMG Grey, so a total of 7 different color sets. (please remeber, this is a minor set, but I will be offering them in German & Italian colors. I will do a supplement German set with other pieces like Me-262, Jagdpanther, Arado-234 Bomber, 21 cm heavy Artillery, Flak tower, etc

RE: 1939 Mapposted in Global War
Hey coach…
I was looking over your set-up charts and have a question: what do you use to distinguish SS Panzers from regular armor units?
Use my SS roundels from the special units.
Or
Color your panthers a different color, I sprayed some silver for one person.
Use the grey tanks from revised, I have those too.I have got you coveted ! :-)
Like the map?

RE: Minor Axis Army Piecesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
To maximize the detail, they must have separate turrets, but I do not like the loose pieces. When I used to play micro armour, I always glued my turrets.
If I decide to go to high detail, they have to be cast in multiple pieces, but I am having the factory glue them together. -
RE: 1939 Mapposted in Global War
The custom 12 sided dice probably will not happen. I have too much money and energy in other projects as of now. Won’t count it out but not on my radar screen.
You will see some dice trays in the next few days on my website and another new item in a couple weeks. I am working on many projects as well as the new pieces which is consuming lots of my time and personal money.
Thanks for supporting me. -
RE: 1939 Mapposted in Global War
FMG is promoting the 6 die system I believe.
Historical Board Gaming (HBG) promotes the 12 die system on my site as well as Tigermans threads.

RE: 1939 Mapposted in Global War
ok good idea and they should be atlest 20ipc’s and thanks. also what dice do you use for the game(most common) D12 or D10???
Tigermans rules uses the 12 die system.
Axis and Allies HAS to move to this system if new pieces like, Airborne, Commandos, SP Artillery, Tank Destroyers, new aircraft, SS, trucks, new ships.
There has to be a system where you can have some room to use the many numbers needed in a 12 die system. -
RE: Roundels for Axis & Alliesposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
Glad you liked the map and my custom roundels.
I have reduced the price to $3.95 a sheet of roundels.
I hope everybody buys more of them so that I can produce even more.
The map is great, we hope to achieve the standard you have set in your maps IL !
