These are a resin 1/2400 scale miniatures that I posted to show the different ships that possibly be done, these are not preproduction pictures.
The metal miniature is a Midway class carrier.

Yes, Bismark was a good looking ship too. The American battleships were designed to fit through the Panama canal so they are not very wide which makes them not as good looking as Yamato and bismark. Both battleships had their advantages. If the yamato ever landed their 18.1" shell on a ship……ouch!

I Plan on doing a few ships for each supplement set I already am doing.
I definitely will do a Japanese Naval set if we do the US set.
I plan on doing these in Olive, but we can look at the darker green too.

I believe the hull was actually started on the first two Montana clas BB’s.

Yes, it is the C-46 Commando, since FMG is doing the C-47, I decided to do a different Transport. The C-46 was used to fly over the hump after the Burma road was closed.

My dad was a Navy man, so I love Naval pieces. I believe that the US and Japan should have many different Naval pieces.
I need to sell pieces to continue to make the sets I am currently making but if enough people were interested, I could do a pre-order for US Naval/Air set and once there was enough interest, i could do the set along side the others.
Examples would be:

Montana Class Heavy Battleship
South Dakota and or North Carolina class BB
Essex class and or Midway class Heavy Carrier
Tennessee Class battleship
Colorado Class battleship
LCM
LST
B-29 heavy Bomber
Seaplane Tender
oiler

RULES SYSTEM

Let’s all agree then that for this game we will use the single stat att/def values for each unit but convert it to a D12 system. I much prefer simple over realistic so others will actually use the game.

Next thing we need to focus on is the complete unit list. Let’s get a list of all Ground, Naval, and Air units we want in the game but deal with the actual stats and attributes of these later.

May I request you to make a new thread about your futurePearl Harbor game  I don’t know where you are along with it, or how much time you have to devote to it,…but it seems that there would be enough interest in it to warrant a thread of it’s own so we could keep up with any developements.  Thanks for listening.

I will,
I am very busy this week trying to ready for a 7 day vacation so no orders will go out after Friday morning for the next 8 days.
I need some time off, 80 hour work weeks are taking their toll on me. I will start the Pearl Harbor game thread when I get back.
I will also start the Axis Minor pre-order and give you more information on the next set after the U.S sculpts that I have already posted. The “Neutral” set will be done in 6 colors and will have some totally different pieces than you have seen so far. I will also be posting a poll for the next set.

I am updating the first post every few days to let you know how the money is coming along.
We are at 12.6 % of funds needed to start sculpting!
