Boarding the transport is considered a movemnt so no he can’t. Fact he can’t board while disrupted.
Unloading the transport is also a movement but I’m not sure about this?

He can’t board the transport but your disrupted from blast scenario is interesting. I guess he can’t dismount either.
After some time (about two months) there’s a new scenario!!! YEAH, but w/out PDF. I just can’t understand why they couldn’t take the extra time to put it on a PDF. It makes it so much visually better.
Did anyone notice that Avalon Hill is advertising to “play Avalon Hill games online” with Glemax?
It actually funny because the link doesn’t even work!
it seems that he can. Of course, I dont know what happens if the player doesnt move him out. Does the unit get forced out? Or does some other unit? Who desides?
In past games, I’ve always made room for the hero before I deployed him…
Mot what’s the deal?
So now I’m confused about the hero. Can he deploy in a full hex?
I know there’s only a small handfull of us that have been playing by post with mapview. However, there’s a bunch more of us types out there. I was lost for some time until I gave it a try and it’s been lots of fun.
We need a game plan to introduce other players to our forum from other forums. We have a few advantages….
Good dice service and MAPVIEW!!!
The more players the better, maybe even a tournament!!!
I think we need a “clear all dice”
New North Africa scenario posted…… after two months.
Where’s the PDF?
They must be getting lazy.
A good guide is
rare $5, uncommon $2, common 50 cents
I think you did well.
Looks good, lets test it out.
Germans should get some obsticles for free, 4 free pill boxes and 3 sandbaged MG42.
I also think allied infantry should be allowed an attack to destoy obsticles. On thier movement phase you can declare an infantry to destroy an obsticle in an ajacent hex (basically the infantry is placing the explosive). On the attack phase the obsticle is destroyed on a roll of 4 or higher.
Only think the only thing missing is the German artilary firing on the beach. How do you recreate that?
How about a similtanuous game on a seperate map, round for round. With US para having to take out some german artilary in a hedgerow. Until they destoy the artilary, the artilary fires on all beach units. I’m not sure how to use the artilary. I’m thinking on the d-day map, at the beginning of the movement phase, roll three dice. On three sucesses the unit gets a face up disrupted counter. Rolling three sixes and the unit is immediatly destroyed. Again this is just an artilary attack for any units on the beach.
COOOL MAP!!!
How’s a tank get off the cliff?
You’d get about 7 trucks out of two cases.
One truck is rare
The rule is it gets the face up disrupted but it has no effect. Make believe it’s not there.
In my opinion only, it should just be removed.
If you notice all infantry units are not called infantry, instead they are listed mostly by the weapon of chc and stats indicate that. For instance
Buffalo soldier
Garand
Marine
all use the m1 garand and thier attack values are the same. You’ll also notice some tanks with the same caliber gun have the same attack value also.
shermans are the same, except the the ones with special cannons.
M18GMC
M18 Helcat
M-10
all the same attack values, except for the m-10 has a slightly better long range infantry attack but I think we know why, because it had a kick butt machine gun on the back… I think it was a 50 caliber.
So the question is what gun does the tank commander use when he hops out, a hand gun? Maybe the tank’s 30mm machine gun? This is the problem. Same for a Bazooka, you’d think if there’s not more tanks to fight he’d just drop his Bazooka and pick up a rifle. Units are the units and can not change duing the game except for the resoureful hero.
Besides a tank commander would never leave a functional tank.
I’ll state my opinion… If it ignores it why keep it there… the rule should be
“this unit ignores face up disrupted counters, remove all face up disrupted counters from this unit”
If it’s not there, there would be no question.
This rule is totaly backwards. The Russian soldiers did NOT want to fight for thier country, thus the need for command dependent. In many cases the soldiers were sent into the battlefld without rifle or ammo. If they didn’t fight they’d get shot.
No you tell me, why the hell would they unload from the armored transport unless there was danger. Why wouldn’t load onto the transport.
Rule is backwards.
get to work DK, have a nice vaca MOT> we’ll be here when you get back!!!
