The book entitled The USSRs veiw of the Second World War is interesting, but not really what your looking for.

Yes, If you get strat bombed as germany buy all of the allies, your screwed, however, russia cannot be spending money on Bombers if she wants to survive. The same with Britain. She has to build up a navy so they can invade germany. the only on who can build up bombers is the us. Also, I think it is quite strange that you cannot blow up AA guns. Could not a fighter fly down and shoot it??? Or are AA guns prtected by a supernatural Force Field?? Just a question. Obviously the AA guns at capitols cant be deystroyed, but why not in other places??

Why not say that a AA gun can be deystroyed by a fighter roll at say 1 or 2?? Just a suggestion.

The only problem that I have seen is the fact that it lets Britains fleet run a little rampant for a while. See all that money you got?? Buy all tanks. In Africa, do the usual stuff. Send the infantry down, blitz the tank threw the country below it, then into egypt and send the other infantry into egypt. (not to sure of afrikas names). load two infantry fro Italy onto the transport, and move it and the battle ship into the sea zone outside egypt. Unload the men. they should be able to take the sub there. then, use your two subs and the transport outside of germany to attack the british main fleet. that is all. then,send all available troops, to attack karelia. Leave some to reinforce ukraine if you wish. odds are, the sovies wont bother with it. I think it is better to attack Karelia in the first turn, instead of waiting so they have a nice grouping of men there to throw at you. Place all the tanks you bought on the father land. On the second turn buy a fighter and some more tanks. attack the caucas if you want. Keep taking teritory in africa. hopefully Japan will be attacking Russia to, so they wont have so many men flowing into moscow. as soon as you feel the time is right, take Moscow.

The sub off of europe can reach the us in one turn? I feel stupid now. but why build subs when fighters are so much better? They can be used to sink the british fleet, or attack the sovies. subs are a waste of money for the germans. Actually, any naval presence for the germans is a waste of money. they should be spending it for the assault on USSR

This sounds like a good strat. One problem however, where ya gonna get those three extra I.P.Cs??? 1 Bomber=15, 2 transports=16 ( at * a peice) and the armour equals 5. if we add that up, it equals 36, which is what america starts with. Just curious is all.

When you capture a teritory in the game, you gain money at the end of each turn for however much that territory is worth.

The reason the Americans wanted to enter the war is that they wanted to become a great world power. The war would give them a chance to build up weapons and other sorts of devlopments that otherwise, might have alarmed others. And yes, I think Americans had a lot to do with us entering the Great War

The problem is, I dont have a board, so I cant play with friends or over e-mail. I also have no money with witch to purchase the board. I do have the CD, however stomping the computer into the ground is only amusing for a time

I think rolling for all your units at once is against the rules. Say for instance you are attacking with 3 inf. 2 tank, and a bomber. Say you roll and you get 3 ones, two threes, and 1 4. You can then assign the dice to whichever units you want. It sounds like cheating to me

Taking hawaii is a pointless waste of resources. I also use both of my battleships in the fight. That way you can deystroy the rest of the American fleet in the pacific

The German and french Empires were tiny comapred to some other ones, such as the mongol and hun empires. Napolean was a french exception. The french rellied on a fortification, that wouldnt of helped during WWI. Germany invadded through the north of france in both wars

And As far as getting thrown out of Koriea, Truman thought he was a rival for president, So thats why.

Hopefully, youll be playing with a reasonably good German player. You move your sub, carier. fighter, and two battle ships and wipe out the hawaiin fleet, but dont take Hawaii, its pointless. Then Load two men onto a transport and attack the Soviet Far east. With your men in manchuria attack The country next to it. (sorry, I dont have a bored with) Then, with your men in Kwangtung, attack china. Fly a bomber to help the men in far east, and a fighter to that other one. Use your troops in french indo burma to attack india. Unless Britain was stupid and built a IC in india, use the fighter to attack china. If they did build a complex, use the fighter, and the men on the philipines to attack india. You should be able to weaken severly, or kill all the men in those countries. On the next turn move the men in china to sinkaing, the men in india to persia, And countinue to harrass Russia. Attack the remaining pacific fleet. If Germany focuses on Russia (which it should) The sovies wont stand long. This Strategy is assuming your using Two hit battleships. You should buy a two transports and 4 men.

Have any of you read his “darkness” books that parrellel WWII? There titles are Into the darkness, Darkness descending and through the darkness. They’re really good.
