Go ahead and post with your first movements and I’ll let you know about scrambling.
Sure that all sounds fine. Let’s go with no tech, we’ll just play it straight up.
OK, so did you want to play Global '40, or Global '42?
OK, we’ve spoken as a team and decided our bid is Allies +6. So what’ll it be, do we be Axis or Allies? Aaaarrrrgghh.
Haha, I also feel like I should say that I think it’s funny allweneedislove thinks I’m a dick. The problem with message boards, of course, is that it’s impossible to convey tone, and what I said I meant to be in as lighthearted a way as possible (as I am with just about everything I say). So no offense to Mr. Love, but I’m still game for this match!
In case anybody from my team sees this, there is a new TripleA version. It can be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/triplea/
The map for Global will have to be downloaded again.
Hmm, maybe I should defer to Mr. Love? I’m up for any version of AA, really, but it’s been a while since I’ve played a '42 game, with technology, 15 VC’s victory condition?
Does the new TripleA version support Technology for AAG?
Ah, OK, yes, we are fairly newbie to all of this. How veteran are you guys? If you are fairly veteran, I would say bid, which I’ve never done. If y’all are fairly new at this as well, I’d say a coin flip would suffice.
Hmm, well, I kind of expected Garg to pop up on here and declare one team the winner. Should we continue playing?

Calera, AL
Any A&A and I’m also open to other games
I like beer
OK, that seems fine, but I’m a little confused about the post. Is Billy going to finish with the NCM and placement?
Lol, I mean, I guess that’s ok? I don’t want to seem like a douche or anything, but I would say any mistakes that were made due to unfamiliarity with TripleA and turn structure (like not realizing about the UK movement) is definitely OK to redo, but just making a mistake and forgetting to do something that you wanted to do seems to be against the spirit of playing a game like this in general, yeah? Of course, I say that, but you generously allowed us to replace a transport with a combat sea unit earlier in the game, which we took advantage of, so I suppose it will be all right. I think I’m just upset right now because I looked at the dice rolls from that 33 sea zone battle. I mean, 14/20 rolls were a 5 or 6 :x! Ridiculous…
Oh, oops. OK, make it two fighters, one tac bomber.
Yeah, go ahead and scramble two fighters and two tactical bombers.

Tell you what, I edited that version and replaced the transport with a submarine; that way, the thing can actually defend itself, and it even costs 1 IPC less than the transport does. If you think this is fair, go off this save state below; if not, go ahead and use the one attached to baronfel’s post. Either way works, and we can continue!
Hey Everybody,
So, my team already knows this, but I’m going out of town for two weeks starting tomorrow, and I won’t be able to post any turns. My teammates will just have to do my turns for me while I’m gone, I guess, and I’ll be ready to go again when I get back on the 17th. Cheers!
