Sounds like a plan, but I think the reserves shouldn’t be right when the attack happens. Maybe when the Germans are in a territory adjacent to Moscow, the reserves are placed there on the Soviet turn.

I don’t believe so, because while I don’t have a copy of the rules at hand, I think Non-Combat Move occurs before unit placement.

OK, I can agree with you on this, but is it not possible to become a Jew even though you have not been born Jewish? That should have been my original argument, that Jews don’t count for affirmative action because it is possible to change that. Probably not for those who were born into it, but it is possible. Skin color you can’t change. (unless you’re Michael Jackson) :lol:

I don’t know…seems like an anomaly to me, if it continued over several years, then it would be serious.

i would suggest that all original Allied BBs be one-hit, afterwards be two, and all Axis BBs be two-hit. I can see people wasting their time building battleships because they were two-hit. 8)

By the time you actually get to the far convoys, the US can have a fleet to counter, and it also takes a couple turns to clear out the subs from all the convoy zones.

Usually, we play with two-hit battleships and no RR which usually changes things, but I usually attack with whatever navy I can muster and as much air support as I think I’ll need. In the Med, I just take my trn and BB against the British BB. At least, that’s what I think I remember doing…it’s been a long time! :)

You can’t forget that some minority groups suffer because of things like this. For example, the minority group I am in, the Jews, are not included in Affirmative Action or in any of these programs because Jews have been able to succeed without them. Also, when universities/colleges start assigning places based on the demographics of the American population then surely Jews suffer in trying to get into universities/collegesas we make up only 2% of the US population, yet we have made up the majority of university graduates (over 60% at Yale for example).

This ought to be the end of this section of discussion. If the Jews wanted affirmative action, it would probably actually hurt them more then it aided them.

In all the games of A&AE I’ve played, Germany went for the convoys. In these forums, it seems everyone takes out the British fleet first. Personally, I think it’s better to cash out high right away and blitz Russia with massive panzer divisions, but maybe I’m taking the short view of things.

Only problem with online play is that I work nights, 11pm-7am, so my schedule is fubar. I havent played a game versus anyone in about 6-7 years. I would look forward to it though. If anyone needs another in their group, online or rt, Im in Northern Minnesota, Duluth.

I would say so, it’s the same as original A&A with battleships. The trns land their troops once the SZ is cleared.

I seem to recall reading an article a while back about the outstanding living conditions in our prisons. I have to agree with the Russians on this one, I would think that prison is not a place where you should reasonably want to be.

The point of what I said, no offense to anyone, was that if you look on a census, for example, Judaism would be listed under religion. It’s what the government states that was the point, and affirmative action doesn’t apply to religions as far as I know.
