The EBard sculpt is approximately 69.5 x 11mm (LxW). The HBG Yamato sculpt is 66.5 x 9.5mm. The A&A OOB sculpt is 58.5 x 9mm.

The EBard sculpt is intentionally larger than other EBard A&A scale battleships to represent its massive size and power over contemporaries. The sculpt itself has amazingly fine detail that you won’t find elsewhere.

Here are my latest ship customizations, the CV-4 Ranger and CV-7 Wasp. These two ships have been missing from my aircraft carrier lineup. Now I have all the US aircraft carriers available from the Lexington class to the Midway class.

The Ranger & Wasp have highly detailed flight decks and authentic hull camouflage. As you can see, the realism is taken to the next level. There simply isn’t anything else like them offered on the market. These look good in pictures but they don’t quite capture the magic of holding one in your hand.

Both are fully magnetized to hold two aircraft.

The Ranger is a 3D print sculpt from EBard Models.

Here is a preview of my new 3D print cruiser - USS Cleveland CL-55.

The level of detail on this ship is incredible. This sculpt was created and scaled by EBard for Axis & Allies. I’ve taken it and added custom decals and paint to create something uniquely special. This piece establishes a new level of quality and will become a conversation piece during your next game. Check out the exacting deck details (I think the top down view photo shows this best).

Hello everyone. I wanted to share my latest Essex class carrier customization.

There is a famous picture of an Essex class carrier where the hull camouflage is prominently displayed. I wanted to reproduce this late war hull pattern for piece and give it a deck a similar style as my other US carriers.

I used this image as my source for port and starboard hull camouflage patterns and color scheme.

Custom Ship Deck Decal Sets

Hello everybody. I wanted to announce that AxisandAlliesBoardGaming.com has released new decal sets specifically made for the Axis & Allies naval game pieces from the following game versions: Europe 1940, Pacific 1940, Spring 1942 & 1941 Anniversary Edition.

This is the DIY option for those who want the enjoyment and challenge of painting their own game pieces. Now you can finish them off with precision-cut waterslide decals to give your creations a professional look. Each individual ship deck decal has been pre-cut to ensure a perfect fit every time.

It is very difficult to get a clean edge on your ship decks using a paint brush by hand. One side of the ship might have straight lines but the other side might be noticeably wavy or you painted onto the superstructure by accident. You can pay others to painstakingly paint your ships but that can be very expensive for an entire fleet or game set. With these decals, there are no more worries about the final look and feel of your ships. Now it is easy to produce game pieces like a pro, and you can paint as many pieces as you want and every one will look great.

These are sold in fleet sets that include deck decals for all the naval game pieces for the selected country and game version. Some examples:
