OK, here’s my IPC chart. Sorry it’s taking so long but I have to play with them to get them to fit.
This one for example is 3.2 mg in it’s original format as a bit map image. Then I have to save it as a png file, then save that as a jpeg file. Even then I have to reduce it to 70% of the jpeg file. So by the time I can fit it in here (256k restriction) it’s lost a lot of its quality.
And beforeI do all that Ihave to change it up from my house rue version to standard….

I did not realize that these documents would be so popular nor did I pay attention that what I had posted had my Canadian house rules in them.
Here are the three documents involved that had the Canadian rules in them. These versions have had the Canadian rule information striped out and are of the standard rules. You might want to use these in place of the ones listed above. Sorry if you have already printed them.

Here’s a Turn Order/Round Number Chart
Had to save as a jpeg so I lost quality then I had to reduce it to 65% which will reduces the quality that much more. Hope it works for ya…
Basically it marks turn order (top row) and round number (all other rows), handy for me because I play a lot of solo games over long periods and will forget where I left off. It’s all just for fun, so the background is an image of the original game. I have dates on it to assume some resemblance of time; don’t take it serious. Put dated events on it like Germany’s invasion of the Soviets, VJ day and such. Again just for fun, and that what the game is all about……

Thanks Kreighund, guess I’ve gotten’ so wrapped up in new Alpha rules, I forgot about the rule books….

RE: NO Chart for Alpha+.2posted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
I’m looking into posting them…. I have to make a few changes to make a generic copy and take out my house rules information. Also, all three files are larger than the max allowed (256k) so I have to look at reducing them with out diminishing the image too much.

RE: Can the US enter the Soviet Union via the Soviet Far East….posted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
Thanks to all involved. I was in fact talking Alpha rules and it seemed logical to me that the US could not move in to the Soviets with out there being consequences. I just could not find it anywhere to justify it.
I guess the best answer is per Krieghund, “When a power is not at war with anyone, not only is it not allowed to move units into another power’s territory, but other powers are not allowed to move units into its territories. I assume by your answer Krieghund that the second part will be part of the future errata.
Thanks again….

RE: Can the US enter the Soviet Union via the Soviet Far East….posted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
In my example the US is at war. The Soviets can be at war with Germny/Italy also. I know all the reason as you stated above that countries not at was cannot enter other countries freely.
However, the question is; "Can the US enter the Soviet Union via the Soviet Far East with ground troops on transports and/or air units flying in once it is; (1) at war with Japan and (2) the Soviets and Japanese are not at war yet, therefore still under the non-aggressive pact treaty?

RE: Can the US enter the Soviet Union via the Soviet Far East….posted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
I understand that you are saying that the US cannot go in until the Soviet and Japanese are at war, however I am still confused as to the logic.
You stated that the Russia must abide by the Neutral Restrictions. They are not violating them in my scenario; the US is the only ones moving. Does it state in the Soviets Neutral Restrictions that no nation can enter them; I thought it just stated that they cannot enter another country until at war on each side.
So if the US is the ones moving to the Soviets why is this considered the Soviets violating the neutral restrictions. Still sonfused???

1. Is this just a non-issue and the US can go in and even cross the boarder at Amur and fight the Japanese without affecting the treaty between the Soviets and Japanese? , OR
2. Is it a violation of the treaty on the Soviet side, thus giving the Japanese the 12IPCs? , OR
3. Is it just totally illegal for the US to do and they cannot enter the Soviet Union until war between the Soviets and Japanese?

It was 4 free inf to be used imediataly in Paris in the beginning of Apha+1. Then it was changed to 12 IPCs in Alpha+2. Basically the same, 12IPCs = 4 Inf however now it can be 2 inf & 1 tank, or whatever….
