I still believe the addition of railroads,factories and fortifications could have opened up a ton of options for this game, therefore a lot of different  results.

Uncrustable thats how they will get us for 2nd edition on this one. Some new sculpts and a better map and better rulebook. Sound familiar. Global 1940 2nd edition. 1942 2nd edition. I see a pattern.

This would have been a great time for WOTC and Larry to have their first expansion pack. Global 42. New map and new rulebook. Bingo expansion.

I’m in on this one Coach excited to hear this could become a reality.

I have ALL the Axis and Allies game BJ it makes no difference to me. I am sorry it wouldn’t cost them hardly any money to include a few more pieces. The game retails at a 100 bucks. There is no way this game is worth that. Everyone that keeps saying use other pieces from other games just gives Wizards of the Cheap an out to keep doing what they’re doing. I also believe these games need to be playtested more. It seems every new game that comes out has tons of issues with it. Playtesting could work out these issues. Instead what do you think we’ll  get. WW1 1914 Second edition. Bank on it.

I voted 7-8. Like the game and the way it works. Shortage of pieces is a issue to me. For the money you spend on these games it shouldn’t be an issue. With a few minor tweaks this could be one of the top games Larry has created.

I think this might be the way to go. Might set it up and play a sample to see how it turns out.

If Italy went to the Central Powers France would fall in 2 or 3 turns. Russia would be destroyed in 4. It would completely ruin the balance of the game.

Got the email as well. WOW on the Japanese paratrooper. I want those ww1 roundels or flags as well. On facebook it made it sound like you guys had those ready to go. Any ETA on those HBG? The German WW1 flag is Kick A…

Fair enough.  It seems as though the 1940 games and Spring 1942 were made and then after a couple years of playtesting by the general public, they put out 2nd editions.

Unfortunately BJcard I think this is what we are going to see from now on out with these games. Get it out there,have the community play it,Maybe come out with a Alpha edition and then make a second edition and make even more money on it.

I really like the mechanics of this game my only problem with it is the myriad of small problems that everyone seems to be bringing up. Either the rule book shouldv’e been updated or this game wasn’t properly playtested.  I think Larry came up with some really good ideas on this one and had it been playtested more I wonder if we would be having these conversations?

I would think if this were possible the rules would have been more specific. Infantry has a movement of 1 unless Krieg or Larry says otherwise.

One problem James. Austria has to attack Serbia not the Ottomans. It is stated in the rulebook.
