I do the Scotland drop and protect it with the carrier I bought on the G1. If England uses her fighters against you and loses them. Sealion on G3.

Fmg I don’t know if you have already decided on the UK sculpts just yet. If you haven’t I had a request. Since you are already doing 2 infantry sculpts. Do 1 English soldier designed for the Europe side of the conflict. It would be cool if he was wearing a beret like in a bridge too far. The other sculpt wearing more of what they wore in the south pacific. Not only would these pieces be nice eye candy but they could also be a way of differentiating the 2. You probably already thought of this but if you haven’t and it’s not too late it would be a nice touch.

It looks like my red star idea has caught legs. Shame I was stoned to death on the other.

That poll isn’t even close. I played Alpha with the guys this weekend for the first time. We started at about 7:20pm and called it quits at 2:00am.  You have to alot for a ton of time to play this. With that being said. All of us loved it and we will be back for more.

The  iron cross the germans used was pulled from the teutonic knights of old. Barbarosa was a teutonic knight. According to German lore he was sleeping and one day he would awaken to conquer Russia.

I think that we will have these pieces in May by the sound of Jeremy’s response. March is almost over can we skip April. Just Joking enjoy everyday your above ground. Hopefully no more delays.

I know some people went with orange because of FMG’s awesome combat dice. I believe in an earlier post Jeremy said he might make black combat dice for Germany. If he does this maybe he would consider another one for Japan. I understand he has a lot on his plate this would be something I think for the future. I think a mustard yellow combat dice with the red rising sun would contrast and beautifully. It might be the best looking of them all.

What made it great AB was all the trash talk at the table and comraderie and the drinks. Aside all of that I have always had a great interest in WW2 thats how the game got me. I have been hooked ever since.

Of all his games I think this is the worst. I am not saying the game is awful. My expectations have gotten higher and higher as these games keep going. This one just  let me down.

Dr.larsen I mean kind of like the color in clue of col.mustard. Deep yellow with almost a hint of brown. I think it would be very identifiable on the gameboard and it is closer to the color of their uniforms than orange. I imagine most of us are watching the FMG pieces debate and I guess if he is going to make 2 colors for Germany why not Japan. I know he would do the orange first like he is doing grey for Germany first I just have read a lot of complaints about Japan color and I thought with a loud enough voice we might get some notice.

I think this topic might generate a little interest. I have read over the years that a lot of people don’t like the color of Japan. Let’s put it to a vote. I personally like mustard. It is a dark yellow that looks tough and the color would stand out. Also it was closer to the color of their uniforms than the orange. I am by no means calling Japanese people yellow. Once again I hate Pc. Let me know what you think. This is the first poll I have ever posted. Cheers Guys/Gals

I believe Italy doesn’t have the resources to go after Russia early in the game. Once they get a grasp on Africa then take a shot at Russia. Thats only if the USA isn’t bearing down your throat in the Med.

The way this game works kind of kills the whole Pearl Harbor invasion. Even if you attack on the 1rst round you are really not wiping them out. They still have a carrier and battleship. The biggest thing you hit is the cruiser. Not really coming close to what happened. Larry should have positioned more Japanese navy in the Carolines right from the start and put a carrier or battleship at Pearl.

WW1 would be good because we could use this in conjunction with AA global. I still vote for the RED STAR and Swastika.
