(this is the original German version)
“Select territory for air units to land. (Current territory is 113 Sea Zone): 6 fighters owned by the Americans and 3 fighters owned by the British”
I landed in UK - but feel free to choose Belgium instead
@666
so you did hit 14 instead of 10.
In total Germany 5 hits less than expected, Allies 5 hits more than expected.
-86 IPC Swing instead of the expected +30 IPC Swing.
Germany will label this as a disaster :face_with_head_bandage: :confounded: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
does not not look good for me.
You scored 1 hit more than average in first round and i scored another 4 less than average hits in the second round.
It will be a disaster for Germany
Good submarines, bad dive bombers - 1 hit below average for Germany
Finally a huge naval battle.
A bit better chances for Germany this time.
But still a huge gamble that can swing wildly either way (That is why i personally prefer low luck games).
Any preferences on how to proceed the battle?
Round by round?
Special OOL?

I just realized that AA Guns do not stop Chinese partisans.
I would therefore not have blitzed Anhwe and put the AA there.
@666
I hope you agree - i made the changes in the savegame. If you do not agree - you can change again.
Also I did not ask you about letting your sub in south africa dive.
If your sub dived instead of fighting the outcome would have been:
your destroyer sunk, both UK and ITA subs still alive in south africa.
You can choose which way you prefer.

After a prolonged and heated debate in the OKW finally a decision was reached.
Sinking the Allied fleet in the Channel - especially with all the British/French troops sitting as bait in these transporters - would finally turn the tides of war in Germany’s favour again.
But the risk was just too high: the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe could not guarantee a victory and the consequences of a defeat in this battle would be dire.
So Germany will leave the strategic initiative to the Allies and see what they will do next.
Scramble decision for Holland/Belgium
we do not need to continue (I am already totally out of the game situation), but also no need to give it to me as a win (it would have been more likely your win anyway i guess).
For me it is fine just to stop.
