      In counterattack the defender is little help i rebalance a little the attacker in this one. In my head the blitz in this game is not very useful, and i change a little the principle.
      Exemple, in the counterattack the german player attack  Rostov territory, Let us start again with this one. In this one the german have 4 infantry, 2 artillery, 3 tank, 1 mec infantry and 1 fighter. The soviet have 4 infantry in Ukraine. The german decide before the start of combat if try a Blizkrieg. On the start the german advance the totality of is troop i engage on Urakine, but i dont use is (viable((1)) troop for the blitz, in this case 2 tank the mec infantry and the fighter. The fisrt attack on Ukraine is go only with 4 infantry 2 artillery and 1 tank. After the first battle is over (Ukraine) it take by german the second one the blitz take place in this exemple in Caucasus, with 2 tank, 1 mec infantry and 1 fighter. This territory is protected by 2 soviet infantry, in this exemple. The second combat is resolve normally, If the german fail is blitz in Caucasus and if the soviet decide the counterattack is valid in a blitz with the normal rules of counterattack. In this rule the attacker have a little more preparation for this kind of strategie, but i have the chance to break the front line. i write, this at 5:00h morning. If is a bit too abstract, i try to re-explain.

      (1) tank, mec infantry and if in range fighter and dive bomber.

      I actually play this way normally. Since Amphibious assaults and air attacks work like that, I apply it to blitz units too.

      Hmm… I like this idea. You could capture an opposing territory on their turn, before they can reinforce! And it sets you up with a friendly territory to strike from on your next turn! This gives defending players a possible major bonus for repelling enemy attacks.

      Flashman’s idea of naval battles zig-zagging across the map is also nice, since you could theoretically have a Japanese fleet chase a retreating American fleet all the way to San Francisco. Naval Battles that went bad for the attacker would then become a race to get to another friendly fleet before they are completely destroyed.

      In global game i made little modif.

      1. german have the choise of build tiger tanks on turn 6, max of two on the map at the same time.
          Att at 4 or less Def at 4 or less, do not blitz. Movement not combat of two.

      2. Russia have the choise of build Is2 tank on turn 9, max of four on the map at the same time.
          Att at 4 or less Def at 4 or less, do not blitz. Movement not combat of two.

      3. Us at war build Marines, same rules as the first pacific game. Att at 2 or less, if is an amphibious assault. At   
          3 or less with one artillery. cost 4 max of 6 on the map. In the setup replace one us infantry at Hawaii by  one marines.

      4. Jap i build is first Battleship in the game i build the Yamato.
          Max one for the game. Att at 4 or less Def at 4 or less. 3 touch for destroy. One touch repair par turn.
          If a jap fighter is present (not paired), if Att at 5 or less=bad aim at long distance.
          (for jap i utilize the Kongo class for other Battleship). Cost 22 IPC

      5. Uk HMS Hood. The first battleship build in europe side. Cost 18 IPC.
          The same stat of a normal battleship but in a battle if a german battleship is present i have only one hit
          to destroy. Att at 4 or less Def at 4 or less, and two shot to destroy.

      6. German 88. in the second ed. german AAA have in def the choise of open fire on the planes of on tank.
          One tank is the same rules of anti planes, i fires before the start of the battle. the german AAA cost 6 IPC.

      7. All normal artillery, in costal territory or island have on the first round of combat a Def of 3 or less.
