Neither for different reasons.

1939 Starting date imho is pointless because we all know that Norway, Western Europe and Balkans will have to fall and Italy has to join the Axis for Balance purpose. It offers players very little other than constantly repeating almost the same historical outcomes from 1939-1941.

1942 date is not good either because the most interesting parts (Barbarossa/Japanese Expansion) are passed and left the players very little options.

If your British ally forgot to buy a carrier, then you have to do it yourself.

although i have few plans to make it to that end of Europe for a few years yet. Unless they breed well in POrtugal (i don’t remember seeing a single cow . . . horses and donkeys i saw, but no cows).

I think we just see the pictures of the WTC being hit, or falling, too much. Let those pictures rest, we should be watching something more positive.

I find myself on to minds of thought. When it first happened I would agree with the fact that the news coverage was CRAZY. Network TV, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX had some 72 straight hours of coverage.

On the other side of the coin I don’t mind seeing pictures of it from time to time. The same as I don’t mind watching pearl harbor or moon landing footage on occasion.
