Here it went on for like 10 min. after midnight…aparently people don’t understand that what goes up, must come back down.

      @Crazy:

Gw, as you point out, real War is inevitable. And I hope in you heart, undesirable. For the pain and loss and suffering of its’ victims is terrible.

May you both have a wonderful Holiday and a Merry Christmas!

I definatly do, I fell more to honor thier bravery and sacrifice then I do to have “pain” for them. But yes, their sacrifices, the things they did, right or wrong, will never be forgoten in my eyes.

Why did you stress the Christ in Christmas?

    • RE: COD4

I’ve learned that all too well from BF2. Ex: Karkand, we try and take the defended MEC city and we only acomplish that by sending waves after waves of men to over run them. Spaying and praying dosn’t work when the other guy is dug in.

    • RE: MOH Airborne

      Were do I start

What do you mean by do you have to have other MOH games intalled? This ones for the PS3, I don’t know about PC.

I don’t know how many multiplayer maps there are, I just got the game a few days ago, still working on the story mode. I’ll let you know when I get the PS3 hooked up online.

Somewhat like COD2. You play in Sicly, S Italy, Normandy, Holland, NW Germany, and one other one…havent beaten the game.  You start out being able to choose the guns you go out with, primary, secondary, and colt 45 by default. Another thing, as you go, you unlock differnt modds to your gun with more kills. Ex: MP40, 1st upgrade, dule mags=faster reload, 2nd, 64rd mags, 3rd, knife, when you malee someone, killes em in one shot.  Or G43, 20rd mags, scope, and then a riffle gernade launcher. Even grenades get upgrades with a larger blast and damage ratius. Another realy neat idea that they have, is for snipers. In COD2, the sites are perty steady right, no hasling with breath control. Well here, in the left hand side of the screen, theres a bar, with 2 halfs of a crosshair on it. When you slowly squeese (not pull) on the PS3 R2 button (which feels like an actual trigger) the 2 halfs slowly come down/up to meet eachother, the closer those halfs are together without fireing, the steadyer your sites are. Almost like controling you breath and movment…very very realistic.

Sadly, they do not have smokes.  Besides the marking of a “green safe area” in each level to let you know thats were health, ammo, and no germans are.

Medol of Honor, Airborne, any one play it? It’s realy fun and perty realistic, I love how you get to paradrop any were you want…though that sometimes is bad if you miscalculate. One time I was trying to land in this one feild, looked safe, but when I got there I was killed by an MG42 before I even got out my gun.  :x

    • The Christmas Truce

December 24th, 1914, in the damp trenches of Europe, not a sound to be heard but of singing, back and forth “Silent night!”…“Stille nacht!” in a place of bobwire, dead, and the dieing, all the violence and blood shed is put aside. Next morning, a German officer dares to pop his head out of his hole, he then proceeds to make his way across the dreaded no mans land, but he bears not a riffle, but a small christmas tree with candles. At first the british thought a trap to soon come, but then another German comes out, unarmed, fallowed by more, all the while singing. Then a British soilder slowly creps out, and another and another, when they meet, they just shake eachothers hand, not needing to say anything, understanding that this time is no time for more death and destruction, no family wants to here about how their son, father, or uncle, was killed on christmas. And so they shook hands, shared storys, and exchanged gifts, a rare ocurinse of two rivals, anyone who could have killed the others friend, or kill eachother one day, but for now, all is forgoten and joy and cheer is in the air. Only to have the next day be filled with the sound of artiliry and gun fire again.

Thats alot of sad faces you got there Ivan

War is as a part of nature as nature is apart of itself, world peace is an impossiblity that will never happen. There will always be someone hating someone else, always some native tribe at war over another, always people trying to rip at eachother’s throats over land, religion, and/or revenge at any one point in time, even when one war ends, another somewere, even if not recognized or very large, will begin.

    • RE: Alaska

      aaaaahhhh! I get it  :-P

Alaska is amazing, besides the cold and 40 days of night…and the dreadfull bearing sea …but the landscape is absolutly breath takeing. I’ve never been, but it’s second to Germany in were I want to live. You know, you could live in the more southern part of Alaska, were it’s alittle more warmer, like the chain of coastline next to Canada.

The reseaon for the planes and such is because the land is too harsh to make roads, alto of areas have to be resupied by “bush pilots”

I just got done watching something on TV “Alaska, big america”. Aparently it’s the largest state, able to streatch from Floridia to callifornia, and N Dakota to texas!  :-o and 570,380 square miles (1,477,277 km²) with some 3.5 million lakes!! Bearing, the Russian founder, spent months traveling to Alalska, only to not set foot on land, and his crew, only having 10hrs on land. The Trans Alaskan pipelin suplies the US with tons of oil as well.

      More here!!!

    • RE: Malmedy Massacre Memorial

I know, but they didn’t, it was the SS! They who commited the crimes at Malmendy had to of hated the Americans to do such a horrible act. And yes, they probly did do much much worse crimes to the Soviets, as they hated them the most, thats why any SS were shot on site in any situation. Under Nazi rule, they were tought that they were dominate, and the Americans, jews, commies, ect. were all trying to take the world for themselves, and should die for it, they were the evil ones in there eyes, and thats what most of them belived too. Escpecialy towards the end of the war when the wehrmatch was full of youth, not experienced enough to know anybetter and raised and were dedicated to their fuhers ways.

Also, I never said I hated the Germans for what they did, infact I myself am a proud German, my great grandmother came to america 2 months before WWI, sencing the inamate. I love Germany and it’s people, it’s just that we did some unthinkable acts in our days and followed the wrong party, but all is forgivin and forgoten.  :-D

    • RE: Malmedy Massacre Memorial

The SS at the time hated any American, armed or not, man or child. Don’t get mad, but if I were raised the way they were, hated the Americans the way they did, and was the SS type of person, I would’ve shot them too.

It’s realy a sad story though.
