I bielive otherwise, yes the SS were maniacs, but I would definitaly call them an elite part of the whermatch (spelling) they were the equivilant if not more than the US Rngers  and british SAS troops at the time. Out of all the units in the germany military, the SS was the most difficult to defeat cause they were so dedicated to nothing but victory, no surrender, no prisoners, and the fuhur himself. But unltimatly, that was there demise, whole SS units and divsions were wipped out because they refused to except defeat and surrender. That and they pissed everyone off no matter were they went. In the Battle of Berlin, the last of the SS killed so many diserters and traiters, the “whermatch” (hitler juden by now) seirously wanted to trade sides.

Without them britian and the US would have lost many more men, and mabye even the war in the bigining.

Is there anyone here that’s in the Omaha, NE area?

The AAE 1939 scenario says that there is an IC in egypt, but britian can only place 1 unit there or in the seazone a turn, to me thats good idea.

Why is it alouded in AAR that you can build a new Industrial Complex for 15IC, but in AAE your not alowed to build anymore of them than the ones you start with?

why does it take 1 division of marines to take out 1 division of the enemy, when it takes 1 platoon of elite navy seals to take out 1 divsion of the enemy?

I wounder if there is anyway of influinceing spain to come over to the axis, just like the allied and axis versions of Italy.

Mabye somehow split the teritorie of spain into portugal, madrid, and northern spain?
On that, how would you influence a country, give up a certain amount of IC or something?

Eschaton we have an interesting game going on from your scenerio in “Games in Progress” forum under Admiral_Thrawn(Allies) Vs. Gewher and Cyan(Axis) if you want to check it out. This is probably playing out a little differently than usual. France surviving into the 7th round and counting.

As for the soviet fleet, your actualy the one making hostilities against the Axis by blokaading the med.

i usualy play up in fremont NE( I’m in Omaha) it’s a perty good place, well have people coming all the way from South Dakota
If anyone were to want to go into the bigger leage just look around, there all over the place, we don’t play for money or anything, no teams or tornaments, we just go out, pick teams, and shoot at each other(some missions involved)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - NASA discovered a worrisome gouge on Endeavour’s belly soon after the shuttle docked with the international space station Friday, possibly caused by ice that broke off the fuel tank a minute after liftoff.

The gouge — about 3 inches square — was spotted in zoom-in photography taken by the space station crew shortly before Endeavour delivered teacher-astronaut Barbara Morgan and her six crewmates to the orbiting outpost.

Making light of this, I think teachers are bad luck for shuttle flights.

In all seriousness… How soon will we have a new generation of spacecraft that will again be on TOP of the thrust assembly and immune to falling debris during launch (like Mercury, Gemini and Apollo were) and we can stop using Shuttles?  Of the fleet of 6 built:  One is a museum piece (Enterprise, the test bed that never went into space), 2 are destroyed with a cost of 14 lives (Challenger and Columbia), 1 is in orbit damaged (Endeavour) and may NOT be able to return home for some time, and 2 others are on the ground (Atlantis and Discovery).

We need a more durable launch vehicle, and we need it YESTERDAY!

I think NASA needs to stop just for second sending shuttles up, and build a better fregin spave ship

Airsoft is like paint ball with out the paint. we use 6mm plastic bbs, oh yeah, and no CO2, we use electric.
A batery winds gears that winds a piston back, sucking in air and when the piston gears reach a gap in the teath of the gear pulling it it lets go shooting out the bb
there are also Gas guns, mainly hanguns, GBB gas blow back(the slide blows back)

Airsoft relies on an honor system to know if your hit.
Also the guns look alot more relistic than those futuristic paintballers, if theres a type of gun out there(AK M16, G36, bolt action, mp5s, land mines, gernades, ) airsoft makes it. They can go anywere from 200fps (feet per second) to 450fps,
I personaly own a AK47 w/ bipod and flash light 300fps with 1 70 and 1 600rd mag
and a KWA M93R II(hand gun)GBB with 1 38rd mag, it goes semi, 3rd burst and fully auto…for handgun, yeah  :-o

As much as I like A&A, airsoft is my true hobbie. Does anyone else play this sport, or even know what it is?

We used to call the germans jerry, krout, and the bosh, I know why they called em krouts. Because  the germans ate a type of food called krout.

the only thing I would like to add, is that the only country that can attake the pink terirories is the SU (Hitler-Stalin Nonagression Act) Even if Hitler did blitz his way into east poland, he would have had to back out due to the act.

He, hey Thrawn, that means that if you play as all the allies then you’ll technically have to invade your own terirori.  :lol:
