If you’re like me then you have people ask you every year around this time what to get you for Christmas. If you’re tired of getting socks and sweaters and would like some wicked stuff to pimp out your A&A board or get that sweet new Anniversary game then I have your answer.

I’ve created a video for you to send a link to those people who ask you what you want for Christmas. All you need to do is go there and figure out what you would like, make a list, check it twice, then let them know the number of the item(s) that you want. You don’t need to watch the whole video either. Below the video in the description box I’ve listed the time in the video that the item will be shown so you can go directly there. It also includes the price and where the item can be found so it will be easy for your grandma to pick you up a set of E-Bards Capital and Victory Cities or whatever it is that floats your transport. Yes I agree that more VCs needed in PTO and Japan should have to work to get that 1 more VC in the PTO. I do have a VC Capital in Manchuria for my 40 game but with not having 18 inf in area it doesn�t seem to get pressured much.
Singapore is out of the question due to Japan being so strong by islands from G40 game reports. Got to make Japan earn it. Just some thoughts.

I’ve settled on my house rules (for now) and so I’m going to release my files for a free download for anyone that’s interested in using them or even just checking them out to get some ideas for your own set. The link to download them is at;

The 17 hour game was Global 40. We played 1914 for 7 hours but it was never in doubt after about 4 hours or so.

I use sea planes for convoy raiding and as tactical bombers against a naval force with target selection on a 1.

Doing all 3 might be risky but the risk might be worth it.
Taranto is a given if you send the carrier chances of Italy scrambling are low anyway.

Toburk is also pretty easy just the naval battle before it might be tricky. You could remove the destroyer from the taranto raid to make that combat even more safe.
Or the cruiser from gibraltar if you still have it.

Dont think you need the tactical for the taranto raid, you could swap the figher for the tactical to make tobruk safer

Its 1 cruiser + 1 BB + 3 fighters ( 19attach. 6 hitpoints ) vs 1 destroyer 1 cruiser 3 fighters 1 bomber 1 carrier 18attack/ 8 hitpoints ) your first 2 hitpoints dont cost you a single die as well.

Starting R7. Wild mood swings this game. couple turns ago thought Axis had it locked up. Turn ago looked like Allies were going to win. Italian and German one-two response last turn might have swung it back to even.

First five turns were a global battle over Persia with every country involved except US and surprisingly, Japan. The French destroyer was involved.

Now the global battle has shifted to Caucasus. UK pac getting too big for its britches in ME as Large Japanese fleet with 5 loaded trns pivoted to Java instead of heading north. UK Pac needs to decide this turn whether to keep going in ME, or head back to Calcutta.

Germany finally sent its tanks into Ukraine to link up with Rostov. Germany had been holding its tanks back since R3 when Russian bombers wiped them off the map. Red Skies going to wipe out the Ukraine tanks now. The Russian bombers have been holding Germany in check, but now Moscow getting it from other side so they will eventually reach Moscow - then bombers will relocate to Siberian troops to retake Moscow.

edit: this game was the most responsible I’ve ever played Germany - their entire G3 purchase was inf for western Europe. Normally that’s pretty empty. US/UK D-Day got pushed right back into the ocean because I had so many ready inf/art in adjacent territories. and now enough planes to go after the d-day fleet.

No Trenacker. Just get a white primer and don’t forget to put on some sort of clear coat after to protect them.

Thanks Tirano. The reason that I didn’t take Southern France on the first turn is because I want to disguise my trip to the Med. I want the UK to have to bite on Sealion and they won’t know that the Italians aren’t taking S. France until after they have taken their first turn. Other than slipping a couple of units into Northern Italy (which I try to do inconspicuously)I have given no indication at all that I’m going to the Med. I don’t need to put units on the complex in S. France right away anyway so it wasn’t necessary to have it on the first turn.

This pic is of IL’s map and I am making a custom table for these smaller 1 on 1 games. Will have the wing affect on end like my 2 custom gaming tables with 1 dice box and battle boards. I will post pics when I get it done. Guys in group looking to play this game.
I’ll be able to take it anywhere I want to play.

Yes IL I know about the flooring. Just ain’t around. I’m still looking.
