The game I’ve played the most is spring 1942. But I recently purchased the anniversary edition and have been enjoying it. I try to play once a month. I have a group of friends that play daily online. Finding the time for a home game is hard. Ok look forward to reading and contributing to the forum. Oh and never retreat…lol

@lenerask I believe if it was not in your possession at the start of your turn you can not use it right away.

As I’ve been reading suggests posts it doesnt look like allied forces can ever use the complex because China originally owned manchuria there for any allie capture would liberate the territory back to china which cannot build units.

Hi guys, I’ve heard of guys painting the bow or stern of the destroyers to help more easily identify them vs cruisers or even in the storage boxes. I know it doesn’t matter which end gets painted but I’m curious if the forum has a preference as to which end gets painted. Ok thanks guys.

Is it written in the rules someplace that you can or can not buy multiple AA guns in the same territory? Example stack up AA guns in Germany to help against bombing raids? Thanks

I just used some painters tape. A few small pieces on the seams and it was perfect. When done just remove tape and store the boards on the box.

Does a defending sub get a surprise strike?

A. Attacker has surface ships and subs NO destroyer. Combat starts attacking subs roll surprise strike first for subs.
Now can defending subs get counter strike suprise strike?
After that normal combat continues.

If you have a naval fleet, let’s include destroyers in your fleet, when can the subs take hits?

A. Only if attacker has destroyer present and planes can hit subs also?

B. Attacker has no destroyer and plane hits can’t hit subs only surface ships?

If subs attack anything but destroyers, can the subs roll first for first strike and if they miss can they now have the option to submerge to avoid counter strike? In essence giving the subs at least one free roll with no chance of getting destroyed?
