This shows you based on time frame this does give you a added move bonus which is all tied into the turn and time frame.
Yes I’ve tried to play with no bonus move from an airbase but 90% of people and in group want the extra move. Based on spaces on map and time frame of a turn.
So what you need to do is come up with your own map or G40 map and make your own game based on your inputs that you want.
You made your point of what you want and think but the bashing about it just needs to end. Prove to every body you can come up with a game with all your ideas and test the hell out of it. G40 has a lot of fantasy and other unrealistic stuff but 90% just want to play this game. Believe me they don’t want the changes.

That makes sense with regards to the pacific Ray. I can easily see that. You played Russia and the Pacific? That is one tough one to focus on the Pacific and Russia at the same time that is for sure. Techs look fun to use now. Anything else new I would find interesting?

No. That’s it. Just redesigning the event cards with a couple added cards and a couple removed from old deck. Would like to sell them and people can use in other games. 14 good 10
Bad. We play now with 12 good 8 bad. But u can adjust this to any game based on turns and percentage of card use. Also if u want draw 2 cards a turn maybe for a 8 turn tourney games.

Well Japan played different this last game. So they delayed the US 2 turns. So seeing damage repair is only Ave of 9 icps ain’t gonna make a huge difference. Plus with 2 added transports to Hawaii the money US saves on damage BB can now buy ground in San Fran but still would need to pickup there or other option the money they save on damaged BB can now buy a IC for Hawaii. So we don’t see that much of a huge change.
We only had 4 guys. I played Russia and all of pacific. Wanted to see how tech worked out again
Got another game in Saturday. “Operation Smoky Boo”. Axis won in 5 turns. Germany influenced turkey turn 1 and funneled to the Middle East. Probably get Stalingrad turn 6 with axis losing 2 points in Med still have 30 points for win end of turn 6 anyway.
US came out quick in pacific but then was pushed back home. Then went back to take truk. Russia attacked Japan but luckily japan had NA destroyer express to retake north city back.
Europe side US UK did finally get a push into the Med but was a bit to late.
I’ll try and get pics in order.
Also the tech worked out great in game.
Only change as we played was if you received a free tech with no token or one tech left to go for u could roll a D6 and that’s the tech u got. At least a bit random there which game is all about.
Only change is US will start with no damaged battleships in Hawaii and receive 2 more transports in Hawaii on setup.

My bud Karl C24 told me about you being a lawyer lol I have a chart conversion but not willing to part with. So I’m assuming if you can’t see it than my opinion doesn’t matter. The 5 punch divided by 13 cost is not .71 That is correct.

Also keep in mind if there’s less pieces in your game the more you may lean towards the % hit instead. Depends. But all my games I use the decimal numbers. Yes you will get a piece not quite right but. I be more than willing to see you in person but I know you on west coast. I’m in Wisconsin. Could meet up if you play BBR games east.

Most people base there Values on Hit % which is fine.
But here I’m buying DD and won’t even come close to a BB.
Mostly its the DD that is to strong in games and CR to weak.

I go by the decimal number and the DD, SS and PB are good and balanced for numbers.
The CR is always weaker but with the added M3, carry 1 inf and Sh3 is a very nice piece to have now. Most games have CR & Tac just to weak.
I’ve been using the decimal numbers in my games for years.
I may try the patrol boat now in my game. Group may get iffy ! lol

It absolutely can work, and work well.
Robert Otto created one in May 2022 called Total Civil War 1861-1865 and had it produced in limited quantities as a full boxed set … but at $350 a copy it was expensive (though considering only about 50 … maybe 100 … were printed, it makes sense to me (as a publisher)).
Unfortunately I don’t think he plans on doing it again and the website he had for taking orders is no longer available.
As for why it wasn’t released by MB/Wizards/Et.al. is probably because of a lower demand (even if only perceived) vs other projects. They also pretty much abandoned anything new or novel for the line quite a long time ago and just updated or tweaked and rehashed everything repeatedly. Their last great ‘innovation’ was A&A Zombies. Now that it’s in the hands of Renegade Games, who knows; they’re more open to new games.

Does your BB and AC drop in AD if damaged ?
3 move CR is basically a fast attack boat with shore shot for islands ?
If your destroyers is 2/3/2 C6 that is to strong compared to a CR C9 3/3/3.

As you can see the Italians were still going for a tech on income tracker we used for that too. Will have some tech country tokens made up for this.
OK. Only 2 changes for tech.
Spy steals a tech event card will now be Spy sabotages tech designs. You will now roll 2d6 dice and total of roll will subtract points from the highest tech on chart. Like in above chart Italy going for a tech. The allies spy sabotages it’s design then rolls 2d6 dice say rolls a 3-5 = 8 points. Now subtract that from Italy’s points from 20 to 12.
Receive a free tech token event card will not be used if you are at 4 max tech tokens. If you have 0 to 3 tech tokens then receive the free tech token you can use it towards a tech now.
