      Well we got the game in finally after at least 14 months as a group. The Axis conceited on turn 7.
      Germany did take Moscow with 12 tanks left and Russian fighters retreated so they would have some kind of air power to defend Stalingrad and maybe do an attack here or there.
      In the mean time Germany wolf packs with sub interdiction NA kept UK from building a Navy for the extra turn or 2 so he could blitz to Moscow and delay US invasion.
      But then UK and US liberated Paris and then did a joint strike on West Germany and taking it. Germany did retake but only has 1 tank there before his placement buys. But axis conceived as of then based on Japan could not help based on losing 3 victory cities.
      In the mean time Italy was making good money and at times had all 3 island group NOs for 15
      Icps with 1 bonus victory point for control of all 7 islands in Med.

      On the Pacific side looks like Japan didn’t get the oil money Dutch islands soon enough and the US with Anzacs help was able to hold HK and get back Manila and Singapore denying an axis win. It also looks like Japan was going for Hawaii parked up by Alaska but US Hawaii fleet attacked his 3 Carriers and destroyers. SO instead of a Midway battle it was a Alaska battle.
      This game Allies can still win losing Moscow and if Germany gets bogged down up to Japan to help get win.

      So I’m not here to talk about anybody’s play. It was just great to finally play as a group again and hoped guys enjoyed playing.

      Russia was able to hold Stalingrad which was tested in game again. Only thing was Germany just got better dice last round of combat for Moscow other wise he may have had only 6 tanks left or if planes were taken as casualties maybe a few more tanks in Moscow. He had to get planes back for invasions.

      Ok. Russia has 3 oil derricks in Middle East along with UK having 2. There all worth 2 icps and UK collects 4 icps towards income and Russia collects 6 icps income from them to. Now Germany can damage them to reduce both Russia and UK income. Derricks are never destroyed. ( but u just gave me another idea of destroying them ). If axis captures a territory with an oil derrick then they collect the income from the oil derrick plus territory value. But if it’s damaged then they don’t collect until they repair the damage. Oil derricks can be damaged up to double there value.

      Also game is based on victory points and there is a 1 point bonus for axis to get if they control 3 oil derricks in Middle East with only 1 damaged.

      So now Germany probably damage a few to help reduce Russia’s income and then repair after capture to get point. Rostov is also a victory city worth a point. This promotes a bunch of action. Also some oil derricks worth more money for income like Romania is worth 8 icps.
      Like Dutch island oil derricks are worth more too to promote more action plus Japan needs the oil to survive in war based on they need income. Those derricks are worth 5,5 and 4.
      Allies can damage them to block income or capture back.

      Ok. Got something going now and looking at for each resource you have can lower the the cost of 1 unit.
      Just kinda looking at a chart now. OK.
      At the begining of your turn see how many resource tokens you have control of for Oil, Iron, wheat and copper. These are all worth 1 icp each.
      Say you have 3 irons, 3 oils and 1 copper. OK now you have 3 icps from iron and 3 icps for oil and 1 icp for copper. But can only use 1 resource each for each unit up to 3.
      So for 1 iron,1 oil and 1 copper it cost a BB would be 17.
      So for 1 iron and 1 oil cost of a cruiser be 10. You get the copper one used as ammo. This goes for planes to and Art and AAA guns.
      For inf it be for each wheat get cost is 2 and if a copper too cost be 1. But mostly copper will go for the better units while wheat just lower inf costs.
      This is just an idea of a icp value for tokens. It may be increased to 2 each.
      But I think if you made them worth 3 icps each be to much.
      I have played using resource tokens but some had different values each. So like since rubber and copper are hard to have or get give them a value of 3, Iron and oil 2 and wheat 1 then you can limit the resource ones on map for control.
      Make it so all countries get a discount ( US max cap) and once you start capturing get a bit more discount.
      I can see like OK I don’t need a battleship but for 6 icps I can get a CR and a DD cheaper where I need it etc.

      The idea here is to find the happy medium with more resources on map and or costs for them 1,2 or 3.
      I do have a setup chart for all 5 resources for map.
      I do have 3 territories that do have rubber and 1 helps USA and 2 are UK but Japan can get. So I could add them too.

      You actually could go crazy with the imports and exports of these resources too. I do have a book that shows all that.
      But then it F’s up time. LOL

      Thank you. Sounds good. Ya just the Normandy change and a added naval base in I think Quebec so guys don’t get confused with base being by New found-land I believe.
      Baron gonna kill me for that. Lol .

      Lone transports only. Enemy has to kill them. If they are not killed get a escape roll @2 each.
      My game transports defend @2 against planes only too. So if a plane kills them they get a AA shot and if a sub or ship kills them no defense shot at them.

      That’s for d12 die. For d6 then @1. Even better odds.

      Well well well somebody finally did sea lion first turn and Germany pulled it off. Funny how it wasn’t tried before or sooner. A few later turn tries got blocked by a weather event card or
      an AA gun defense was rolled good with a NA radar @3 instead of a @2 for UK.

      Plus Germany got Wolf Pack Tactics and Manstein’s Panzer Blitz NA’s which would help with more convoy raids and Russian attacks. Germany received 48 Icps from UK and UK’s capital went to Ottawa and Quebec received an upgrade minor factory to 6.

      So that delayed UK 2 turns before they could start doing something with the USA planning and building more on Europe side. In the mean time Italy was doing a good job in Med. based not much UK pressure after turn 2 but UK did get some good naval rolls there.

      Here is a picture below of Germany after there turn 2. They took Scotland and for the next 3 turns UK US went back and forth taking back London until the allies finally secured London. The allies did finally make a huge landing in Western France but Germany was able to take it out with there planes and Germany’s good play south way in Russia to force Russia to split some of there ground units to help defend Stalingrad.

      So on the Pacific side ( pic below ) Japan and US doing there thing and in this pic below it looks like Japans fleet is split and of course Japan is going for the oil islands for the extra money they need to help towards an axis victory.

      What happen in a few turns later the Japan fleet did get together and the US fleet moved to Java sea zone while Japan’s fleet moved to inside sea zone of Malaya and Borneo to protect some oil money islands and then the US fleet attacked the Japan fleet based the allies needed to deny 2 victory points for the axis controlling Singapore but ended up losing the naval battle along with Japan mostly but Japan could recover faster based on making decent money from oil islands and US spending more on Europe side ( sea lion ) with really no US fleet built at San Fran.

      This next pic below shows Russia now Taking back Stalingrad and some ground moved out to help retake back Stalingrad again if Germany counter. But they didn’t. Italy moved there ground between the 2 Russian ground troop groups and Germany moved some units there with them.
      And also the allies have control of London.

      This pic below is at the end of turn 5 and Russia did attack that ground troop force ( off the map on a task card ) where the 3 SS Panther tanks are left. Russia retreated to Moscow with all his tanks to help defend and left Germany with those 3 tanks and not in pic yet the Russian figs landed in Stalingrad to help defend that too on any axis counters. Also in this pic Germany attacked all those ground units in Western France but not in pic. But if you look at London there is no ground units.
      So after 5 turns the Axis had 29 points but Japan would get 2 more and Germany would hold Rostov to win the game with 31 points. 30 need for the win.

      In this pic below is Pacific side at end of turn 5. As you can see on next turn Japan can get all of China for another victory point and get Sumatra for another victory point and also axis be pretty close to another axis victory point for total axis income.

      So it was a great game and to finally see what would happen with a sea lion and to make any tweaks. Just going to take 2 ground from Scotland and move them to London on setup.

      Its nice to see that yes Japan needs to help also with Italy mind you to win the game.
      With Germany making good ground moves in the south with some Italy ground ( which has to stay south in game ) prevented the Russians to do any really counter attacks.

      Also Germany did finally get to influence Spain late in game to help counter the allies landing and with Italy backing that up with ground units.

      Russian held its own again and only game out there where Russia can hold Moscow based on some German play and or Stalingrad. Were seeing stuff in those 2 city’s that I’ve never seen before in any game. ( might be one out there ) But hey you got to stay on your toes as Russia.
      A minor mistake then will cost you the game. So that’s that.

      Oh by the way IL’s walking dead Bunker in Germany never got in game.

      Yo barnee. We looking at now with replacing Milan victory point to Tunis so maybe get more of a American landing in Morocco with Monty pushing from other side from Cairo.

      Also adding a Solomon Islands victory point to try and get the coral sea battle going. Look at setup map pic. US line fleet there so based on history get japan to get Solomon while controlling Truk for another point and by attacking US fleet and Japan sending down some naval from home to Truk. Goal is get the buys on Australia before US gets there. Or at least hold Sydney while axis on Europe side gets there points.

      OK. Here is the Vichy India rule.
      If Calcutta falls the income money all goes to Japan.

      1. Roll 1d12 die for each territory Fec controls in India only and for Ceylon and Maldives but not for Bombay. Bombay will be the head quarters for Fec. The rolls would be
        1-4 Vichy India
        5-12 Fec

      Any ground units in these territories that become Vichy join the Vichy side.
      Japan can move into these territories if they want and stay also.
      All Vichy India pieces in game only defend the territory and or sea zone. They cannot move.
      If either side attacks the Vichy India then all rest of Vichy India joins the other side.

      Roll 1d12 for all Fec ships just touching the coastline of India, Ceylon and Maldives in sea zones.
      1- Becomes Japan
      2-6 Scuttled
      7-8 Becomes Vichy India
      9-12 Becomes Fec

      On Fec turn they can do combat and non combat moves and at end of turn collect money for income for the territories they still control.
      Also Japan does not collect income for the Vichy India territories.
      If Calcutta is liberated all Vichy India territories become Fec except any territories Japan has ground units in. Then Japan will take control of those territories and collect income for them.

      So Bombay is where u want to build another ic probably turn 1 so u have a safe place for buys early plus technically New Dali was the Capital and Calcutta was just the huge area for LL supplies and such. When ships are scuttled that is based on Uk destroyed 40,000 supply boats for rice and they then horded all the rice. That’s when the Bengal thing crap hit the fan.

      Anyway if I left some thing out illl come back and edit.
      Keep in mind we adding a Uk transport to Bombay based also on if Japan controls the 4 territory with the Burma road supply lines receive a victory point and can ship u it’s a bit more to counter this bonus point while still defending Calcutta from sea. Also we increased the build in Calcutta from 3 to 4.
      So now maybe Fec can hit Assam to block point and or China hitting Yunnan and or Kwezchowz.

      If using D6 just convert. Let me know if you try this in your game.
