This is the map we played on for over 3 years with tweaks to map as we played. This is Deathheads map. The confusion is people think this is HBG 39 map and it’s not. HBG took this map template and changed some things on it and made it there 39 global map.
The map on next page is my redesign to fit my 41 game and just cleaned it up. Took over 80 hours and still be a tweak here and there.
A map is never done. Plus a change or 2 will happen on game play over the course of time.

Ya Yakut was a landing spot to refuel planes on there journey. Yes The railroad should be there plus Mongolians were Pro Russia. I have a rule for those’s if interested in it. Just giving you ideas here.

My thoughts are just try and keep it simpler if possible.
For being to strong active at capitals u can adjust pay and AD values. Base it on how many does each country actually buys and used each.

We use that NA in my game. Can be a great thing to have. Yes revised game NA.

Here is after 8 turns.
Raspituta season kept Germany from moving 2 spaces to 1 and Russia held Stalingrad. This side is a stall or stalemate based on 2 turns left in game.
Japan held Hawaii but lost Hong Kong so now they are at 29 points. 1 less for a win. Rolled out battles thinking axis won but no not yet.
Japan probably take back Manila and US takes back Hawaii and probably end up with a Allies win.
Got to finally see if Russia could hold there own after losing Moscow. Great action there.
Pacific awesome now. US had 6 3 island group NA worth 30 icps because Japan went for Calcutta and abandon the area. So US came out and hit all the islands they took back just like real war.

We play Uk 1 inf or art can use the hump from Assam to Yunnan if China controls Yunnan.
You could have roll a 1 and it blocks the piece based on lost planes.
