      HA. They did one game. Got a free tech token. Rolled a 6 for break thru. Then rolled a 6 for Super Fortress. This happened on turn 3. OK can’t use until turn 6. So I buy 6 Super Bombers turn 3. ( 6 max ) Then on turn 4 6 figs for escorts. Then on turn 6 bomb Berlin. Lose 2-3 figs in dog fight and 6 bombers SBR Berlin with 2 D6’s each.
      SO now I do like 45 damage to IC. ( 72 max ) wtf. Think 30 was max. SO now Germany has to to repair damage to build and also lost 5 figs in DF and no way they would keep up with just US buying figs and a bomber each turn with Germany losing 30 icps damage and 6 figs 54 icps. Even at 30 damage a turn still to much.
      US I only sent 4 bombers next turn and money went else where. Plus bombers could A@1 dog fighting to. That’s pretty strong in d6 system.

      So Crus had to change that in game to 1 d6 SBR that I know of.
      Also another game Russia gets to defend @3 in winter seasons for Inf and art for all rounds and that was to strong too based on Russian inf cost 2.
      Play test people so you have a for sure results.

      I edit this at bottom here. It’s the B29 Heavy Bomber. For sure some of these you shouldn’t get before there time. But it’s what you want for your game.

      5. Shuffle cards at start of game then draw randomly 1 at a time per turn per country and can use right away.
        So let’s say Russia receives a Tac Bomber they can use on that where ever it says to place

      I don’t think so. One could possibly have a “requires unit” thingy but that’d only work for the first two. After that they’d all be able to but I don’t think that could be done either.

      I keep thinking i should learn how to code so I could do it myself but pretty sure I’m not smart enough : ) Who knows. If we all go into lockdown maybe I’ll give it a go until the power goes out or the net is overloaded and won’t work :)

      Where did you get your oil producing list for these countries. There’s a few I saw maybe right that I have are not. Not that it matters here. Just asking.

      I do like your 3 option for a axis win. VC ok up to a certain point. Make the axis get most of total resources and control by a certain turn or holding what ever your conditions are for a turn. My game based on VC worth points and the axis can get up to 4 different things of control for 1 Bonus point that goes with your VC points total.

      1. Axis total income 1 bonus point
      2. Middle East oil 1 bonus point
      3. Control 3 Dutch Islands for Oil and refineries 1 bonus point
      4. Control 4 Dutch Islands/Maylay for Oil, Refineries and Rubber 2 bonus points

      The goal is to give Japan more options for a win instead of just sitting there and doing nothing while Germany has to do all the work. Also it’s to get US to spend 60/40 or 50/50 for both sides like war was. If they go one side then Japan cleans up and vice versa. Remember to in my game I have 3 island group NOs that you can receive 5 icps per group. Now Japan has to come off Asia more, can’t blitz Moscow (have movement of 1 for all motorized units in Siberia and Asia.) rule and Japan has tank restriction buys. Japan can go and try to get Calcutta too for 2 VC points but still need to get a few islands for money and prevent US from getting to many island NOs. Japan should have to win by getting the oil they worth money and to help win the game. Just throwing ideas at ya from my game.

      Well we had to cancel last Saturday’s game due to my appendix rupturing. It’s been 2 weeks now and l’m doing good. Was like being in the fog.
      New game will be Dec 14 Sat. We made a few changes. Just didn’t get to test Saturday.
      Russia now gets to promote 1 t-34 tank to a guard tank per turn. AD7
      Russian Parisian pops up on any empty German controlled territory. AD2
      If 2 Parisians in same territory will Control territory.
      There’s Siberian Inf on the Eastern front to and by Finland.
      A few more KV-1s on Eastern front too. A6 D8.
      Figs and N figs Changed
      Figs C8 AD5 M5 + If roll is a 2 or less get a bonus plane kill. SBR AD3
      N fig C8 AD5 M4 + If roll is a 2 or less get a bonus plane kill. SBR AD3
      Carriers C12 D@4 plane only.
      2 NA changes
      Russia NA Guard Tank went to Guard Inf. .
      Can promote 1 Inf to a guard Inf per turn A4D5.
      German NA Wolf Pack now one time in game get to roll 3 d6s and that total is what Germany can spend on naval only.
      That’s about it.
      Will post game report and hopefully
      Live stream the next game.

      I have in my game kinda what your are saying.
      The Inf is the strongest piece in game. With d6 no room to weaken it.
      What we do is have Fig, Tac, Stg bomber attacking and defending in the air while ground or naval combat goes on for every round.
      Plus ships have aa too every round.
      This represents all scenarios of combat. Some planes Dog fighting some planes attacking some planes bombing some ships aa firing and Air Superiority.
      Remember all attacking and defending planes can retreat after 1 round of combat and any round after that.
      All planes get a normal hit but if the roll is a certain number can get a bonus plane kill too.
      It’s like a double hit. We d12 system.
      You can control the numbers more.
      Say a fig ad@5 and if roll is a 2 or less gets a plane kill too.
      Tac stg bombers are a 1.
      Plus ships get same thing
      Say a Cruiser ad@6 and if roll is a 2 or less gets a bonus plane kill too.
      So now you force the attack or defending player to pick a plane. If u lose a few planes and he has more now u have to retreat planes or sacrifice them to continue battle.
      Now for d6 you’d have to crunch numbers and see what’s feasible.
      Also you need to have Tac get a pic hit on first round for the torpedo or bomb drop.
      We have Tac/Dive ad@6 first round only. Pick target. Any round after that ad@4 and if roll is a 1 get a bonus DF plane kill too.
      For SBR that has its own rule
      Figs ad@3 Tac Stg ad@1 for one round. Then aa fires on bombers. Now u could have this go 2 rounds.
      This all has been tested now for a year in our group and it works great.

      Ya 99% of players will not play with air supority first before combat.
      Just some ideas if any body’s interested.

      But that is part of the Dutch island oil. Japan has to protect and defend it too. So makes them deal with more stuff off Asia and you want the 7 icp islands with refineries (worth 2 icp owned) for the money which they should have to fight over plus now they have to deal with US Anzac and Fec SBR raids or sub convoy raids.
