As Japan I spend the whole game fearing being stabbed in the back by Russia and then having to turn my most mobile units around to deal with that backstabbing.
At the moment, with the Mongolia thing, I think Japan gets the worse deal of the two nations.

All these extra dice just completely change the game. Large battles are gonna mess up the Soviets because they can’t really afford a “combined arms” thing.

The whole benefit should be one of movement: 2 movers paired with 1 movers in NCM at 1:1 basis should all move two.

Combat should be toned down to this: 1 air, 1 armor, 1 Inf/Art/Mech gets one re-roll if missed. Don’t add more dice, just take the dice you got and possible re-roll.

However, the movement won’t change the game too much, like this 3 or less thing.

Besides, that idea was submitted by Larry Harris like 3 years ago and people shot it down then too. He considered it before AAP40 came out.

Like Churchill - I feel a sense of validation when hated, and as it doesn’t bother me in the least, it’s more of a blessing than a curse - and adds to the enjoyment.

Of course, it helps that MANY more people like me than hate me.  (Infact all but one).

Not to say that I go looking for fights, but when I see abuse/harassment, I’m going to stand in it’s way. And yea, my sense of humor can rub people the wrong way… lol.  Oh well.

If you capture a naval base on your turn, and you have ships adjacent to it that haven’t moved.�  During NCM do they recieve the boost?

nope, to able to get move bonus, u have to control it at the start of your turn.

The rules does not say anything about that… In my team the ships get a boost. What does Larry say about this

Just like China for example… the original controller by setup -is- Japanese, but it’s really not, it’s China.

The fear is that someone misinterprets the rules, then ALWAYS attacks all neutrals with Russia (in a Sealion game), simply for all the + 3 grabs.

Imagine a Russian attack on Mongolia under this false pretense…
