@djensen apologies I just saw this message now.

I would have some ideas if you wanted to use them to increase interest or activity at aa.org, but if the plan is to help other communites, I’m not certain how best to achieve that, though I love the suggestion from SV.

Where do I sign up to fight Kurt?

People fail to realize that like a chemical or nuclear weapon, the after effects of communism and it’s social attempts to destroy western culture are still replete today.  We suffer from them everywhere. People think communism lost, and on the surface that may be,  but we’ve lost too.  There are too many Americans that hate America.  There are people who go around calling themselves patriots, believing in thier cause, destroying their own country right in front of them, without even realizing it.  This was the Soviet intent.

The Damage is done intergenerationally, and only through concious acceptance, a TRUE sense of community, and objective education, can it be resolved.

This is truelly THE post WWII conflict, and in theory - not a shot was fired.

You ever wonder why when you walk around downtown, you get the sense that society is sick?  That’s because it is, it’s suffering effects of social weaponization, and disease - that were BY DESIGN.  Never forget that.  Best thing you can do is take your cup full, tell others, and help them find the places where they feel they belong, in their communities, in their families, and with each other.

Also never forget, that there are individuals out there promoting the same ill’s that still erode western culture.  They Must be STOPPED.

Ever notice that when you went to school they made you feel like Western Culture was Bad/Wrong?  That you should hate America (Certainly a fact in Canada) that you should feel sorry for the things your ancestors are accussed of and pay for them?  That when someone steals your wallet it’s YOUR fault.  And that doing the right thing isn’t doing the right thing anymore?

I could go on…  But I won’t to save this post from becoming political, and being removed by moderators.

Just remember that although Russian Communism “on the surface” fell in this “Post WWII Conflict”, that we still lost too.

Man, I think I’m like the in the top 5 posters on this site! And I lost! LOL!

I’m not sure a free copy of War Room qualifies as “losing”.

Also, each person got 1 entry, not 1 entry per post.

Oh yes, true! That was a generous prize!

      The rich getting richer!

IF railroads are your thing… I should invite you up to BC sometime.

Up here everyone has all but forgotten about the railroads… and the fact that some of the longest railroad tunnels in the world are here in British Columbia, and that many of the railroad systems that were built pre-ww2, were built with defense in-mind, connecting all the major civic buildings etc.

Hundreds of MILES of these railroad tunnels lay derelict under Vancouver/Burnaby  and the surrounding regions, and no one talks about them.  Never a -Subway- system, just traditional rail.

I’ve heard of a tunnel in the rockies that it so long, it has comparment doors and ventilation to keep oxygen in the tunnel, and that entire TRAINS dissappear into the tunnel and pass through the opening and closing compartments, insane feats of engineering - long forgotten.

That’s what I know about whats just in my backyard… and we’re small time up here… I can only imagine what YOU know!

What a blasphemous betrayal by the British! Leaving Hannover exposed for FREE pickup by the germans! and destruction of more than a dozen dollars of french infrastructure! This was all part of the British plan all along!!

      I AM OUTRAGED!!

    • RE: How about giving US improved shipyards when at war to help balance game

There is no need to “balance” anything.

Certainly not at this stage, it’s pretty close.

The American player has to spend on both fronts, and have to know what they are doing.  The victory cities make it EASIER for the allies to focus.

Knowing that all you have to do to prevent Japan from winning, is owning NSW, HAW, and WUS.  Focus on that.  Send everything else to Europe or Africa.

If you are playing the allies, as long as you are making more money every turn, there is no reason to surrender.

Quite the debate about which capital could hold the longest!

Germany has the most men, and a stable income of 20! But faces strong economic forces and production.

Austria has the least men, but is on the offensive!

Turkey is bottled up, and low on supplies, but is also far removed from the front.

Communism faces extinction at the hands of the americans, but is dug in like an Alabama tick!

    • "LOSERS PRIVILEGE"

You have battled your opponent mono a mono for hours… making no mistakes…
the battles are desperate! The Margins are slim! and the game is easily 50/50 and then suddenly your opponent gambles it ALL on a not so clear but massive battle… Eastern Front - FULL FRONTAL OFFENSIVE into your Bryansk stack!

The dice roll… your opponent is sub par! and slowly, round by round you edge your opponent.

There are still easily 100 units in the battle, and your opponent in a rage of anger slashes his battle board stack, spitting it all over the board, declaring his DEFEAT! and also declaring it the “losers privilege” to swipe the board after poor results.

Is this really the “Losers Privilege”? Or is it poor sportsmanship? Is this signaling a
moral and virtuous decline of the A&A community? Or is it just signalling our difficult modern times?

And would Lord Curtmungus be so bold as to stand by such a declaration? or deny it ever could have been made at event he tabled.

Only do it if you are doing well, otherwise… this is in the bad ideas column.

And if you are going to do it, make sure you hit everything else too.  Spain, Portugal, Sweden.
