      I’m not very knowledgeable about TripleA errors.

      Wait for @Panther response.
      But if you are eager, here is what I personally would do in your situation

      1. I would check whether the site was down (wait several hours, like have elapsed by now) and try again.

      2. Close and restart Triple A and try again (no doubt you’ve done this)

      3. Ask @ArtofWar1947 if he upgraded versions before doing that Japan turn. Possibly upgrade to a newer version of TripleA.

      4. Check that everything looks normal in your opening TripleA screen.

      5. Try to load Japan in local.

      6. If nothing’s working, go back to the last load that works (Russia?) and re-enact the Japan turn, save and/or post, and try to load that up.

      So, again I stress, wait for Panther or someone who isn’t shooting in the dark like you can tell that I am

      Yeah I forget them too,

      so although the league rule is if fighters are not declared then they’re on their own power’s carrier I didn’t want to assume because we’re not exactly covered by league rules here in this tournament
      (though the results are counting in league to spice things up and in an attempt to stir up league interest in Classic, we’re not in the league section)

      “Don’t have to continue rolling dice” means there is a 100% chance you will destroy all transports so it’s pointless to roll dice.

      First sentence “In a sea battle, if the defender only has transports remaining and the attacker still has units capable of attacking, the defending transports are all destroyed…”

      This means no choice.

      Or, in other words, you can’t retreat from transports (and similarly you can’t retreat when only AAA remains).

      It’s just a fast way of saving and uploading, I think. If you save your game and upload that file to the forum I think it’s effectively the same thing as that File -> Post save thing.

      Indeed! Must be a different version of Triple? I’ve had Post PBEM save for as long as I can remember,
      It’s control M - maybe that could possibly work for you

      Assuming you don’t know about it, go View-> unit size -> try 125% I think it’s the only way to play

      Hey everyone,

      If you’d start your tournament games here in the tournament section, play by forum, it would be great because

      1. We can see how the games are progressing (or if they’ve even been started)
      2. Easy for players to peek in on others’ hot Classic games

      We didn’t make it a rule, and I’m not going to apply pressure. So if you’re merrily playing by e-mail or in play boardgames or whatever you’re doing, not a big deal, just report in here when the game’s over.

      Would be nice if at a minimum a save file at the end is posted, but also not required.

      So for any future tournament game you start, please set it up here in the tournament forum. Lots of benefits, not really drawbacks. 🪖 ✈︎
