      Buf, with that prices, the game would be crazy. Allies would have easy time to build a fleet and do D-Day. Axis would buy lots of aircraft and onslaught Soviet Union. Bombers at 9? No, unit prices are well. The only change i think could work is subs being invisible to aircraft unless destroyer is present (as in A&A Europe). As now, Germany builds few subs as aircraft obliterates them and for cannon fodder trannies as better. The other countries never buy subs in my games.

      OK on Bessarabia. That are good reasons. If you change the victory city in Extremadura, choose one of these: Merida, Caceres or Badajoz. Not use Ciudad Real as i said first because it is in Castilla la Mancha (Castilla la Nueva in that time, so your territory New Castle is correct). As you see, i also make mistakes  :lol:

      Your work is good. Go on as now.  :wink:

      Well, i don’t think you have to change the border lines of the territories. If you wanted a victory city in Extremadura, you could name it “Merida”, “Cáceres” or “Ciudad Real”. If you want represent a famous battle, could be “Bailen”, were Napoleonic army was first defeated in Spain. This was near Jaen (Eastern Andalucia). If you wanted a port in Murcia, you could name “Murcia” (and call the territory “Murcia”). Sure gameplaying needs some territories more bigger than geografically (England in Revised is a good example), but the cities should be were they really are. Sure you’ll be surprised if find Los Angeles being in Central U.S. in an A&A game  :lol:.Seville was in Andalucia in 1808, of course, as now. The changes you need only mean change the name of some territories, cities or ports (well, Lisbon should called “Oporto” in his actual position), so you not need change your territory borders, only the names.

      He,he, you catched me, I’m Spanish. I think your work is in general good and only need minor changes in the names. Oh, I’m not sure, but Bessarabia maybe shold be north of Romania (as in Axis & Allies: Europe), in her actual position, maybe should be named Bulgaria or Estambul. Not Constantinople, the Ottomans changed the name to Estambul when they conquered in 1453.

      Sorry, you are wrong. Socialism is not communism. Not all french are socialist. Chirac is not socialist. Is democristian. I don’t think he sing the international. If he’d do it would be right. He could because this is a democracy and you are free to choose your beliefs but not to force others believe same as you.Sometimes socialists rule in France. Sometimes democristians rule in France. Ruling party is chosen by the people in free elections. So France is a democracy. Socialist party in fact rule in various countries of Europe. Those countries all have democracies. In Spain May day is also celebrated. Socialist party is the ruling party now. Sometimes the ruling party is the democristian.We choose our rulers in free elections. So Spain is a democracy. Not a communist dictatorship. We even have a king (without real power), so hardly is a communist regime. My natal city is now governed by the communist party. They are not ogres eating childs. The streets are calm and the people lives free. But sometimes is ruled by the democristian party. Right too. Things go well too. When communist party loses the elections in my city, they accept the results and nothing goes wrong. A democracy.

      So, socialism is not communism.
      You can have a communist party ruling a democracy.
      You can have a democristian party ruling a democracy.

      The problem is when a party tries destroy a democracy. Then is called a dictatorship. This is not the case in France. Nor in Spain. Nor in any European Union country. No pal, France is not a communist dictatorship regime. Is not anyway near a dictatorship.Is a democracy. I really really hope you had joking. If you are not joking, try informate of the situation in France and in the rest of European Union. I’m not trying offense of course. I only think you are wrong. Not more.

      Only a coupe of really big mistakes. Seville is not in Extremadura, is in Andalucia. Murcia in your game is in Eastern Andalucia and so should be called “Almeria” or “Granada”.And the ports of Lisbon and Valencia are bad possitioned. Lisbon should be more in central coast of Portugal and Valencia should be north of this current position (in fact, you put Valencia in Murcia).Sorry but this should by chaged. Spain was a main battlefield in Napoleonic wars and deserve a proper representation.

      @Imperious:

      Only we would have created a communist France ( they are getting close to this anyway… admittedly)

      What are you talking? France is a democracy and the ruling party is not the communist. You could explain us how you can identify a democracy with a communist dictatorship, please? (And no, i’m not Frech).

      But maybe you are just joking anyway  :mrgreen:

    • Axis & Allies Spain / China

      Hey guys, i’m thinking a new A&A game could be “Axis & Allies Spain”. It would recreate Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). It is said by some historians that II world war begun in Spain (and the begining of pacific teatrhe was sino-japanese war in 1937), so it could be cool. Axis would be nationalists forces and allies would be republican forces. A couple of rules could be german and italian units aiding the nationalists and soviet units aiding the republicans. A VP sistem would be needed for republicans survive (as Japan in A&A Pacific) and maybe even a first turn strike for the nationalists (as in Pacific too). Could be IC in Burgos, Canarias Islands and Morocco (nationalists) and Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia (republicans) and cost and profile of the units could differ from one side to other (republican infantery weaker and cheaper, nationalist infantery stronger and expensive, per example).

      Of course, sino-japanese war would be cool too. Maybe even using two separete chinese forces, one leading by Mao and the other leaded by Chinang-Kai-Shiek, with IC in Shangai, Beijing and Chongking.

      What do you think? Should Hasbro release those games? I think those “lesser” conflicts and other battles as Dunkerke or Battle of England  would be nice variants to Revised version (a very good version).
