    • RE: Good WWII PC RTS?

      Jermo thanks for the rundown. That is a lot of help.

      I checked out the Company of Heroes site.

    • RE: Oil tankers sunk

      The problem is what is happening in the Gulf is misnamed with the word ‘spill.’ It is an underwater volcano of oil.

      A sunk freighter is knocking over a pitcher of water. While the catastrophe in the Gulf is tearing off a fire hydrant with no shut off.

    • RE: Axis & Allies Guadalcanal

      @The:

      another lame game to add to the list of cruddy knock-offs… :|

      You might want to wait till it is out and you’ve had a chance to play it before labeling it “lame” and “cruddy.”  As of yet AH hasn’t even begun telling folks about the game, how can you know whether or not it is any good?

      And I’m with djensen Battle of the Bulge is terrific. Miles and miles away from “lame” and “cruddy” and with its supply aspect it is not a knock-off. Personally, I expect Guadalcanal to be just as good or better.

    • RE: Big Bang Theory!

      @Mallery29:

      I’m out to sea right now, so I’m only going off what my wife told me, but I guess they were playing A&A on the latest episode of Big Bang Theory….can’t wait to see it when I get back!

      This is correct. On the episode new airing March 06, 2014 they had A&A laid out on the coffee table central to the set. I think this is the '42?

      @Young:

      What I find really interesting is when Leonard asks “are we playing individual or teams?” which suggests that these actors don’t know the game at all, or they have some kind of interesting house rule.

      It suggests neither the writers, nor the actors know the game. My guess is props gets sent a lot of geek stuff to use to decorate the set and the script called for playing a game that was either individual or team and A&A was close enough.
