ok so it does fire before combat. It must need a unit presence in Amur then and not just control. Should be able to add a condition for control only.

Just have to make sure it only works when JPN declares war

@avner Thx, you too! First time I tried a strategy of really targeting Russia, even with Japan, and it worked pretty well

@giallo Maybe the G1 attack on Sz111, I could’ve saved my bomber, but still that was a 90% battle for me. Malaya on J2 was a 95, and your attack on TJ, while gutsy, was lucky af. Both of those outcomes led to me losing too many boats, too early, and coupled with losing so much LW in G1, I was toast.
Been awhile since I had that many things go wrong so early in the game.

I must say, it was a different strategy you used with Italy - I’d never seen the eastern stack supplemented with so many Italian mechs.

@freh When you had your German bomber in the Pac, I could not risk just to put 1 dd for blocking; for a while you had an Italian bomber, not as effective, since I move Anzac afterwards, Imagine if you had both bombers there… Let me know if you are interested in a rematch sometimes.

You do not have to wait. Those figs i sent to US carrier early was mainly to protect fleet from your 91 fleet but i did see the potential kickstart. I have never purchased the dd cv ss G1 but I’ve faced it two times in a row and it’s way stronger than I thought it would be, even negating the Sea Lion potential, as it’s diminished in BM. Definitely would have been a different game if that fleet survived in the Med

@freh Well I felt it was a low risk for USA, even if I loose some planes, since all your planes were in novgorod, Normandy and Holland were safe, In deed fun game :grin: Let me know if you wanna do a rematch in the new year!

@LennardF I definitely was worried there for a bit about the Pacific but just managed to hang on. I was lucky that my med fleet could make it to the Indian Ocean so quickly to hold you off. But you did a really good job of having two strong Japanese fleets to be able to keep the allies at bay.

@dawgoneit yeah this one was tough - you had some early moves and the dice go against you. Even that last Iraq battle, you should have done way more damage and taken out some German air.
