Well christianism is very similar on some aspect to Judaism, good, evil, monotheist, heaven, hell, rigid laws from a god… It is clearly based on Judaism… and some part of judaism were taken from the egyptian (not as much as with the Christian from Judaism, but still).

(piii) Faith is not a guarantor of the veracity of something

I am sure some will hate the conclusion, but it is true. If i have faith in an “evil” god that hate humanity and create us only to torture us when we will die; there is not a single reason to believe i am more wrong than any christian.

B) Read a Swedish, a French, a German, a Canadian newspaper. Sure it is not perfect, but everyone get healtcare and private healtcare are minor (they should be even more minor in France & Germany). We call that justice, not a justice for the rich and a justice for the poor; a justice. How dare you, as a human, to get medicare before someone just because you habe more money ? Some people get ruined because they get a cancer…

The Bible, however, never claims that doing right is natural. The Bible is clear that doing right ( at least, Biblical Morals) is very difficult and can only be done consistently with direct assistance from God. Our “Nature” didn’t even KNOW WHAT wrong was at first. Then Adam and Eve ate of the tree of THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL. From then on, all humanity had what Christians call a sin nature… a NATURAL tendency towards ones one ways… it is natural…

If you really believe Adam and Eve have existed, all discussion are pointless…

Ho… the ultimate lazy argument, if nobody can think for me, what will i do ? No seriously i do not believe something is “evil”, but there is some things i feel are not ok, not evil, just wrong, but i am just not saying it is “universal”, that a little guy out there said it was not ok to commit “adultery”. Sex outside marriage… There is NOTHING unethical about having sex outside marriage (i am not speaking of adultery), it is normal, perfectly normal and it hurt anyone as long as the people engage in sex are mature. Christian are lacking jugement when they do not want distributor in school because sex is not moral for teenager… We should teach our children how to be mature while having sex, not to say it’s sins, they’ll do it anyway, it’s instinct and it’s what make us survive…

BTW FinsterniS, I ate a French dish (German really) from around the area of Strassbourg and I can’t remember its name. It’s made with Sauerkraut, different kinds of meat and vegetables.

Sauerkraut mean choucroute by the way… it was maybe a choucroute garni a l’alsacienne ? Alsace is the region where Strasbourg is. A nice place… a little too hot for me, but it’s nice, close to germany from a geographic and cultural point of view…

Well… you did not convince me. I don’t see why i should consider Judaism as better of worse than Christianism or Islamism. Christian believe Jesus is the only way to god, Muslim believe Mohammed is the only way to allah, Jew believe they are the chosen people…

What is horrible about inter-marriage is that it ends the religion. When two people from different backgrounds get married and want to raise a child, who’s religion and culture do they follow? Many try to let the child choose for himself/herself, but that is not possible because children are not able to make such decisions until they reach adulthood. See my point? It is very hard to keep a religion/culture (I’m assuming that both the parents really love their culture/religion and want the child to have it) when the two cultures/religions are so different. In most cases, the child loses both cultures. In the case of Judaism, this will most likely diminish the number of Jews in the world. Remember, Jews make up 0.25% of the world’s population. 15 million out of 6 billion if you want to confirm the math.

Finland is often considered scandinavian, but it is not. Only Norway, Sweden, Danemak and Iceland, sur they have the same type of flag, but the finnish are more slavic than scandinavian, and more preciecely they are ouralo-altaic (if i remember right, i should get more info). Also the finish language is very close to the Hungarian.

I have only one real friction with the jew and it’s their tendency to call “anti-semitic” every critic. In germany there a Social-democrat that was called anti-semitic, and if you read what he say you will know he is not. Same thing goes in Quebec (the family of my girlfriend live there), some independentist are accused of anti-semitism for no reason… there is paranoia somewhere… European leader are not anti-semitic, but as some does not support israel they are call anti-semitic…

I’m not. Fascism appears to be rising again in Europe, just look at France and Austria. Well, Austira has always been very supportive of the Nazis. The Austrians are more Nazi-like than the actual Nazis. Hitler and Eichmann were from Austria and now Haider is their new leader. I don’t particularly like how Europe always criticizes other countries such as the Untied States.

Austria and Danmark have problem with facism. But there is no danger for the jew, the EU will never tolerate another Hitler. Europe this time critic the US for agriculture (bad for poor country), steel, kyoto and for hosting Nazi website (Germany and France ask the US if they could make it illegal to put nazi website on their server but it’s agaisnt “individual liberty” so Nazi use the USA for organisation)
