      Thanks for contacting us.  FMG will gladly support this Event by sending along a game for your Library and some prizes.

      I can tell you from experience (FMGC), that starting and keeping a CON going is not easy.  You need to create a website, or HOME for your event so we can spread the word.

      There is an amazing AAA community out there and I am sure you will have a great time.

      @ABWorsham:

      I’m playing Risk tonight with my entire family, my father, wife and 11 & 9 year old sons. I’ll Report the result. I’m training for an upcoming A&A family event.

      Ahhhh…  RISK.  The “Gateway Drug” of War games.

      I have been training my son up on RISK also, moving towards A&A.

      I have played it 5 times.  Each time was unique.  The war ends when all sides play a TRUCE CARD.  You may play this strategically…  or in some cases you may be forced to play it.  Very cool system with the cards.

      @suprise:

      Try not to book it during the Syracuse Nationals, 15,000 hot rods is too much for me to avoid
      Tank fest was great but I was in the middle of a game, would have loved to ride in one….maybe next year

      What date is this?

      Seems from his comments he is taking a break from WWII games?  WW1…  back to CONQUEST OF THE EMPIRE, and now maybe some early American History games?  Civil War?

      Considering it is the 100th Ann of the First World War, and we now have AAA1914

      I think you should do a MK1 WW1 tank?

    • RE: Canada names it's warships after US defeats

      OH I had to get in on this one!  Let’s not kick the proud and deserving traditions of these two Navies.  But rather look at the reality of the situation.  It is comparing Apples and Oranges really…

      Two significant differences between the CDN and US Navy TODAY (Not the glorious past):

      RCN (Royal Canadian Navy)

      1. Small specialized craft, mostly coastal defense and support craft for defense or NATO support missions.
      2. Paid for with existing tax dollars and resources

      USN (United States Navy)

      1. Largest Navy in the World, Global reach, all types of available craft, First Strike and defense.  Leads most NATO missions
      2. Paid for on the US Gov AMEX card so our great grandchildren can pay for it too!

    • 1812 - Invasion of Canada

      Just want to tell you about this great new series I just discovered from Academy Games

      I picked this up looking for something different and instantly fell in love with the game mechanic.  It is simple and easy to play (I can even get my wife to play with me), yet still has a deep level of strategy…  keeping the armchair Generals out there interested and wanting more.

      It LOOKS simple and can be confused as a “Euro” game with the little blocks that represent regiments, but it has several complex layers of strategy.

      Every faction has special abilities and a “character” of their own:

      For example;  The Native Americans that are allied with the British have the ability to raise troops in any area of Canada or the United States where other Native troops are present…  so they are not tied down to mobilization in their CAPITOL like the European forces.  They can also slip away and retreat from battle at any time, and can use Canoe attacks to hit areas around the great lakes behind enemy lines.

      They look like little green blocks, but the game is so well done they start to “feel” like Indians!  And the American commander will start to fear where they will land next!

      I have posted some resources below for you to check out.

      If you are interested and want to learn more check it out on my site at the link below.  I am supporting this new game company and trying to get the word out to the war gaming community so they make more like it!

      I have played this game four times so far with a different and engaging experience each time.  Still keeping me interested and looking forward to my next battle, where I can try on the boots of a different faction commander.

      This game is FIELD MARSHAL APPROVED

      Great for 2-5 players
      1-2 Hours playing time

      Thanks

    • RE: FMG Italian Set

      @toblerone77:

      Jeremy,

      Will you guys ever be selling the large Italian sets again?

      NO.  If you want the same amount of units you can purchase 6 little sets.

      We decided to follow HBG’s lead in this market (as they have been doing such a great job).  Most people don’t need 150 Italian units….    Small supplement sets are the way to go and more affordable for most gamers.

      @ossel:

      :-o WOW!!
      Really??!

      Yes, designs and samples are done.  Just waiting on the final production of regular COMBAT DICE to be complete so we can get selling again and have funds to produce WW1 dice.

    • RE: 1939 Map - Jeremy's Variant with Set-up Charts 2.0 In Development

      @Moose11:

      Except, Charles de Gaule never said “Viva.”  That is not French.  He said, “Vive.”  When he said “Vive le Québec libre,” in Canada in 1968, he instantly became persona non grata and was promptly evicted from Canadian soil, never to return.  Not a very loved man in Canada as he is associated with the nascent separtist movement in Canada, which the Canadian government continues to deal with to this day.

      Thanks for that.  Those were just mock-ups for playtesting.  I will find a better quote for the final version.

      These dice are already designed and ready to go.  First thing to go into production once the current COMBAT DICE load is finished.

      @ossel:

      Placed an order on your site today. I’m pulling for you guys!  :-D

      Just to be clear, if your website says the item is in stock, it really is in stock, correct?

      I talked to him yesterday, and he said if it says it is in stock, it is in stock, so I placed a huge order for dice and miniatures, yesterday. It better be, LOL. :-D

      Stock levels on our site are accurate.  John I am sure you already have your UPS tracking correct?  (Mailed direct from UPS)

      Thanks
