Hmmm… we could promote TripleA and it could be hosted here at .org
Sounds very interesting to me.

I confirm : it was great and we had a lot of fun !!
I didn’t see any disgracious behavior during the week-end (and with gamers, you never know…), nor did i see any stone/drunk/stupid people (btw, i got no problem with drunk people, just with annoying drunk people).
The place was amazing, so was the Sherman tank parade.
Really a great event. Hope we can be more than 60 people next year.
A photo was taken with all the guys costumed : Gargantua was US General, Suprise attack was India/Anzac, Vance was UK, and Clyde85 (with the German uniform) was China and i was Russia. We were holding that huge US flag garg brought for the event. A lady took that photo, and i really hope that photo can be posted in here (it was the only one taken with all 5 of us costumed).
Note : for those of you who wonder (and i know there’s a lot): Gargantua is a really cool and nice guy. About every aa.orger wanted to meet him and have a chat with him at some point during the week-end.
Who has this photo? PLEASE send me your pictures and video from the Event!!!
@De:
Are you still developing this? Please say yes?
Well I might now… this is the first reply.
@Young:
WOW! Last years thread for this event received 2 pages of posts, this year’s convention garnered 15 pages and counting…. so, next year’s FMGC 2013 thread should reach 97 pages.
Now we have your attention!!!
@Deaths:
I agree, but the Forum should not be called 1939 Global War, Since it will contain more then just that thread.
Please suggest to djensen what it should be called.
These were great! Very funny also…
Love your Blog also… HARD CORE AA FANS
@Most:
I just put up a post about the event on the event on my blog http://dicetruction.blogspot.ca/2012/04/field-marshal-games-convention-2012.html You can lift any pics from there if you’d like. What a great weekend!

YES IT IT TRUE!!!
We featured the game at the FMGC 2012 Event and djensen was convinced that this is the most popular “unofficial” variant. It deserves its own place for discussion; both on the game and the expansions / products related with it.
All the threads related to this great game will be moved here shortly.
Thanks

I was hoping to pick up some Canadian craft beer (none of that Molson or Labbatt crap) on the way in (as my other alto ego is a craft beer enthusiast/expert @beer47) but I get in too late to hit the spots in Toronto on Friday night.
Are there any good bottle shops in the Oshawa area. Is the LCBO #776 in Pickering really the closest to the event?
I was planning on just having this after the event but is there some new BYOB policy?
There is an LCBO on route to the Event from the 401 Highway IN OSHAWA.

As mentioned; there will be a bar open in the venue on Saturday Evening.
