Here are a couple of pics of the new basement hobby/computer area I am having built. You might say its a man-cave for a nerd. :lol:  Its just the skeleton but you can get the idea. There will be fresh paint, shelves, lighting and etc before its finished. I will be able to roll on my chair along the desk to what ever station I have set-up.

As the Piece de la resistance, In the center on the bumped out wall I am having a glass display case built for my 15mm mini’s and my AAM Canadian army. I will send the shelves for the case to a good friend who does 3d terrain and have him flock and create terrain on the shelves for the minis to sit on. I’m hoping it will look pretty cool.

So cool! The centurion is one of the few V1 pieces that play well scale-wise with the V2 15mm units.

I picked up 16 guns from the Underground Arsenal project and started building them this week-end. They went together beautifully and look great. They include the bases also. They should add some flavor to the gaming table and expand indirect fire capabilities. Here’s a peak at the unfinished project. The 100mm Skoda gun was available for axis minors but I didn’t pick them up.

We have reCaptcha and StopForumSpam and I think it’s doing a good job. The issue was the photos right?

WAS and AAM have enough units that using shapeways other other models/cards like team poseidon that you can have whats fairly close to a complete game.

How do you paint your models? With brush or spray?

100% brushed using Vellajo paints. By brushing with thin coats of paint its easy to get a smooth finish that looks like airbrushing. This was my first attempt a fading paint on the top surfaces to simulate desert suns ability to fade colors.

Here’s an idea I had of how to provide the tools for anyone to play AAM online here on A&A.org. Below are 2 links to download of a blank map and photoshopped mini’s ready to post and play.

1. Download Gimp for free here: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
2. Install Gimp and open the program.
3. Open the 2 files you downloaded and saved on you computer.
4. Simply click and drag the text and mini’s over to the blank map and position them where you want.
5. Save the map as a jpeg for turn 1 or etc……
6. Post as the attachment or Image code in the game thread and your good.

Simply delete images and texts as units are destroyed and preserve the master .psd file as you will return to it each turn to edit the map. You will notice my set-up is a bit different than other versions of P-b-P as It shows vehicles in one of their 6 facings rather then a generic pic.This visually makes it easier to play because the facings are true and correct.

Ober, I think that the rules are that whoever wins Init must go last… bit you can houserule the AAM way! :D

The USN has the best Init, best Guns, best Ariborne bombs, 2nd best airborne torps, and best Smoke Fleet! :shock:

And of course, the Germans sub fleets are killer… KoD! :D

Well in all honesty,

You guys wouldn’t be able to handle ANY kind of humor on this matter as a whole (Despite the fact science says that’s the way to handle it!)

A good personal friend of mine is about to die of cancer  (She’s counting days now, not weeks)  And she likes hanging out with me the most because I give her grief about being a weak link, and tell her how she’s got to step up / suck it up, VS just sitting around and feeling sorry for her.

Plus Panzer Painter is cool, and I give a damn!  It was endearing to see everyone step up to the plate.

I think the starters retail for $40 and contain 4 planes. Not a serious amount of more in this world. All indications from demo games they have played it is pretty fun.

The Starter contains 6 Planes, 2 Bf-109s, 1 Bf-110, 2 Hurricanes, and 1 Spitfire.  The starter also contains the cards for all 31 planes in the set.  The boosters contain 3 Random planes.

Yea they do look nice. There should be more teasers released and I will keep posting updates.

Is this group still active?  Do you have any plans for Comunicon in February?  I’m thinking of running something if no one steps up.  I can do an AAM scenario.  I still don’t have much naval stuff.

Here’s another map called; Russian Ridge. Its kind of patterned after the Russian Steppes maps with some geology to create good fighting terrain. The road was high level bombed and created shellholes benefiting the Infantry.
