I’m sure this has been posted, but I am right in the middle of a game and I would like to hear some players thoughts. So I was able to capture London on round 2, which was great, I’ve never attempted Sealion, but it brought Russia and the US into the war, the game is at about round 8 now and it’s been tough going for Germany especially in Russia. Having tried Sealion I don’t think it’s worth it. Not when you bring the Russians into the war, (which I think is a ridiculous rule, for the sake of the game balance I understand America joining the war, but Russia makes no sense, especially when you have a political situation that has a non aggression pact with Germany. The rule book basically gives the British player insurance that they won’t be attacked early which seems a little silly and counter to the history the game is based on)

Hi Spitfire38 I have been using Games workshop paints, they run about 5$ Canadian a bottle which are pretty tiny! I have always been pretty happy with them though and they have a huge selection, designed for miniature painting.

I used Corsair fighters from HBG as carrier fighters. A close eye can spot the U.S.S. Missouri.

Sorry not sure why the pictures didnt show up. I will post them as soon as I can figure them out. If someone could help me out with that would be great, I couldn’t find any guidelines and how to for posting pictures. I used a external file site and copied the URL using the imagine code provided. FastHeinz G40 Painted Piecesposted in Customizations
Hi everyone, I am currently in the midst of painting my G40 units and I thought I would share my progress with the community for everyone to enjoy and to get some feedback. I have tried to keep my paint schemes historically accurate while still being practical to play with. I am currently working on America, I have finished the Navy as well as the Airforce and I am working on the Army currently. Let me know what you think. (Note I had some trouble attaching photos so moderators feel free to delete if this post is a duplicate)
I inserted magnets into the carriers and undersides of the planes to make things a little easier, I was inspired by watching a generalhandgernade video on that customization.

Does anyone else use them? or do you consider that they take away from the skill needed for the game?

When I play as Germany I like to attack Russia on turn 2, I found that given too much time the Russians can build up so much infantry in Moscow that it makes it difficult to take. Plus if your playgroup is used to Germany attacking later it can be a good surprise and effective. It was with my group the first time I tried it.

RE: Hello Everyoneposted in General Discussion
I am from a small town in Alberta, about a hour north of Calgary. I’m always looking for more people to play with, my playgroup is quite spread out so I can only usually play maybe 2/3 times a year when everyone comes home for the holidays.

Hello Everyoneposted in General Discussion
Hello everyone! I would just like to introduce myself, I’m Tyler but you can call me FastHeinz. I’ve been playing A&A for probably close to 10 years. The first version I bought was the Europe version that cam out a number of years ago I think I was 11 at the time. I’ve come a long way since then in my playing skills and ability and I would like to take the next step so I thought I would join the community as a member, after watching the YouTube channels of YoungGrasshoper, Sired, and Generalhandgernade. Hopefully I can learn some stuff from the community here and contribute as well. I’m currently painting my G40 pieces and will hopefully start a thread for that soon.
