Thanks @simon33 , @trulpen. So the average bid stays the same in BM4? I thought the European Axis is mostly affected to this change, isn’t it?

Hi there, I’ve got two questions about G40 BM3 and GO40 BM4:
- Is the only difference between both modes the IPC costs for the strategic bomber?
- I read that the average bid in BM3 was about 10IPCs for the allies (please correct me if I’m wrong). Is the average bid in BM4 0IPC now?
Thank you!

@aequitas-et-veritas
Hi, thanks for your answers. But I’m still not clear.
Will the mongolians remain strict neutral when the axis attack them when russia already attacked Korea and the US attacked spain before or will they become pro allied? -

Although when the allies already broke neutrality with the strict neutrals before?

Hi there, i’ve got another question about the mongolians:
- Russia attacked Korea
- Allies breaked neutrality
What will happen to the mongolians if JPN attacks one monolian territory?
Do they stay strickly neutral or do they become pro allied? -

Thanks, thought about it, because the oob rulebooks says that transports are not allowed to go there while not at war.

Got some facelift for my gaming table:

In addition there’s a steel panel below the map, needed for the new created flight stands and other magnetic stuff:

Are you also allowed to move units further in NCM after leaving that occupied sz (when e.g. blockers are destroyed) or even back?

@barnee, @CWO-Marc
Thx for your feedback!@CWO-Marc
Yes, the monitors help tracking the income during the game. My group and I always forgot to adjust the IPC table at any time during the game, that sucked. Therefore I did this Excel table. Works quite fine now. If anybody is interessted let me know, I’d like to share it.@barnee
The beer holders are on each side of the table. I don’t like cupholders, because there is only space for one drink ;-) The dagger helps if someone does not want a drink or to declare war to other nations.

Do kamikazes prevent landing marines (e.g. ANZAC) with allied cruisers/battleships (e.g. US)?

RE: A PC Calculator for IPCsposted in Software
HI kennethofborg,
- The zero value territories are necessary if you want to calculate some of the additional National Objectives.
e.g. the Soviet Union gains 3 extra IPCs if they occupy an original axis/pro axis territory even if it’s worth zero IPC: Sardinia, Sicily, Italien Somaliland;
or the United Kingdom Europe gains 5 IPCs if it controls all of they original territories: Alexandria is worth nothing but UKE won’t get the NO’s 5IPCs if they don’t control it.
But if you only want to calculate the territories IPCs you can delete (or comment for futher versions ;-)) these rows.
2./3. “n” means “neutral”: There are neutral, neutral pro axis and neutral pro allies territories in Global40.
For the insignias: Mr @Tjoek has created some roundels:

Hi kennethofborg,
you’re welcome.I’ve done a global IPC tracker with MS Excel (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qj1ukd81mhwvhwu9ajbo3/AxisAndAllies_GLOBAL_1940_2nd_Initial_20200312.xlsm?dl=0&rlkey=ndesbxts7ih1pcqknz2vriu6l), therefore I’ve got some preparation lists I can easily adjust:
BasicCountryListGlobal.txt
There’re all IPCs relevant territories included (also the NO ones without IPC value). Here are some maps files:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ona2aexfo66pxhw/Map.bmp?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/yi80qacpzzmcfj9/MapnoTerrain.bmp?dl=0Loooking forward testing the calculator ;-)
Best regards

RE: A PC Calculator for IPCsposted in Software
Great work! Is there also an IPC calculator for Global ;-)
One think: If a capital is captured the allied forces can’t gain IPCs for liberating territories which belong to that capital’s force. E.g. UK or US liberates Karelia after Germany/Japan occupied Russia -
Axis & Allies MS Excel IPC calculator/trackerposted in Software
Dear Sirs and Madams,
I’d like to introduce you my Microsoft Excel based IPC calculator/tracker for Axis & Allies Global 1940 2nd. My A&A hommies and I always forget to adjust the territory at any time during the game so I developed this Excel table.
It serves several functions :
-
track and calculate IPCs with territories and national objectives (few have to be adjusted manual (SZ125, Med, …) [sheet: IPC track]

-
calculate Purchases per 1 round [sheet: purchase round]

-
calculate all rounds [sheet: purchase chart])

-
calculate land and sea battles (my dice colors are 1:=beige, 2:= blue, 3:= red, 4:= yellow, therefore the dice colors)

And here is:
AxisAndAllies_GLOBAL_1940_2nd_Initial_20200228.xlsPlease don’t hesitate to ask if there are some questions.
Thanks for your feedback! -

RE: Tjoek's custom roundels and tokensposted in Customizations
@Tjoek Thanks for the roundles. They look great! Just printed them on label paper, laminated them with matt sheet and used 2 Euro cent coins to stick them on.
Printed and sticked oranged roundels on the back for combat marker.
Just my 2 cents.
