Just keep it simple and have them defend at 1 instead of 0 and allow them to move during the combat move phase. Keep everything else the same.

I don’t attack the Italian fleet on the first turn simply because this lets the Italian player have more fun, and I also get to keep a strong British fleet that can go to India or around Africa to England. Now I might attack their fleet if I was in a really competitive game, but then you have to build a British fleet from scratch, and the United States can easily take out Italy’s fleet most of the time.

Why is there the rule that industrial complexes cannot be built on islands, even if the island meets the IPC requirements? You should at least be allowed to build minor ICs on islands.

Ok, first of all, this has to be kept simple and not overly complex. So here’s my thoughts:
Tank Destroyer
Cost 5
Move 2
Attack 2
Defense 2
Cannot blitz.
On a roll of a 1 on attack or 2 on defense, the enemy player must select a Tank as a casualty. If he has no Tanks, he must select a Tank Destroyer as a casualty. If he has neither, he can select any other unit he wants. The Tank or Tank Destroyer selected as a casualty can still return fire. -
G40 Free For Allposted in House Rules
I think it would be interesting to have more than just the axis and allies teams, and have teams like the U.S., U.K. and ANZAC; Germany and Italy; the U.S.S.R.; Japan; and China. The victory conditions for everyone could be: control all of your original territories and one enemy capital. And for China it would be: control all of your original territories.
Or a total free for all would be fun, and all nations would be free to attack and make alliances with anyone.

If you have long range aircraft and your aircraft are in a territory with an airbase, they get +2 range which is very useful.

In one of my first games of Axis & Allies revised, I was Germany and I was attacking the Caucuses and the Russians shot down all 3 of my attacking fighters with his AA. :-P That made me scared of attacking a place with an AA gun with air units for a long time.

I just think the Cruiser needs something altered on it so it is bought a little more often. If it had a move of 3 sea zones and ignored naval bases I think that would make it more likely to be bought.

Since no one answered my question in the software section, I will ask it here. I downloaded and installed Triple A so I could play Global 1940, and I want to know the difference between the various options. Like ‘Play Online’ or ‘Start Local Game’ or ‘Start Play by Email’. Thank you.
