    • RE: Beginings of an Article: Axis & Allies Revised Tactics

Here is the translation (with a few modifications ) for this article

Las tacticas basicas de “Axis and Allies Revised”

      5. No dejes a tus tropas sin refuerzos. Tus fuerzas necesitan crecer y reponer piezas perdidas
      (majormente tanques e infanteria).
      6. Toma riesgos cuando la oportunidad se presente. Ejemplo: si un jugador deja su capital con pocas defensas, sacrifica lo que sea para cspturarla.

    • RE: Russia Round 1 Attacks

      @ncscswitch:

Aggressive Russia means you still take Africa, still clear the Med, AND take out the Russian advance forces.  Then re-group in G2 for further advances against a Russia depleted of offensive units.

This comes from the guy who uses a game board

    • RE: How A&A corresponds to WWII history

AA severly butchers the economy of Russia and bolsters the Japanese and German. In reality Russia could outproduce Germany in any point of the war and Japan could have never moved past mainland China.

    • RE: Dog Fighting Tactics

On computer fighter simulations, its hard to do anything BUT turn around and around to get in your opponent’s tail. When I play BF 1942 or wwii online, I usually roof my plane to the limit and stay there until I see a prey. However, if I miss them on the way down, it turns into a twirly-twirly.

    • RE: Nazi Germany VS The Soviet Union

Germany was to lose against Russia even if they captured Moscow. The failure of Germany to turn Operation Barbarossa into the Soviet civil war, would have coasted them the war under almost any circumstance.

Ban repeated offenders and do ip checks so they don’t make a new account (i say ban ip if thats possible). I was temporarily banned for flaming and should be permanently banned if I flame or break another rule.

    • RE: Nazi Germany VS The Soviet Union

The Soviet Union could outprodce Germany anyday in the war. Here is an example: Summer of 1942, German production of tanks was 500/ month. Russian tank production was 1200/ Month. The difference only keeps getting bigger from there. How can any nation win against an enemy that can outproduce them and have an endless amount of manpower? Stalin would not have surrendered… Ever. In the long run, Russia would have won the war of attrition and taken Berlin.

    • RE: Nazi Germany VS The Soviet Union

The divisions in Africa and in the rest of Europe would have helped to punch deeper holes, capture Stalingrad and besiege Moscow, but Russia could always move back, refit and counterattack, as Germany was at its full potential.
