I think that everyone that plays axis and allies revised should know that the destruction of the british ships in the Med and the taking of Egy in turn one is essential for success. you should also take some IPCs from russia, but you should not commit to the desisive battles just yet. germany should also if possible keep all of its fighters on its west coasts to counter any allied landings. Disperse your Bal navy to avoid total destruction on turn one. The remnants of that navy will hopefully hook up with your med navy. Keep russia commited, but do not kill your troops.

The japanese player should always attack pearl, for it gives them 3 full turns of relief in the pacific. If the british built an IC in india you must take it right away. If not reinforce French Indo and attack india in later turns. Keep builiding arm, art and inf in teh mainland and ship it across to Man, or Bry. Build a Sub or Trn every turn for cannon fodder. Remember, The United States will come with force…

The way it really went was like this. Radar locates large bomber force and defending fighters get airborne. Dogfight. Defending fighters are called off. Flak hits them. Any bomber that survived teh fight can finally drop its load.
Now… if u wanan get teachnical. The flak fired again when teh bombers made the return trip. Escort fighters should Only be available after the player researches long range aircraft, since the allies could not escort their fighters till the mustang made its appearance. OR use pacific rules, which are fairly the same.

I was looking at maps and games in progress at flamesoferope.de and i saw the stupidest thing in one map. The russian player had a transport in the caspian sea!!! yes a transport there and apparently 2 infantry in it. Is that of ANY use at all??? I lost the game number, but ill find it and post it asap. it was a shocker…

I like to bluff and advise my oponents to throw them off. I usually get a SHUT UP, or LEMME PLAY BY MYSELF. I also SUCK at rolling.

There are times when I dunno WHAT to buy. A aircraft carrier or a battleship. The aircraft carrier is less, but u need planes on board to make it an effective attack/defense weapon. The Battleship takes two hits and hits harder than any other unit attack/defense.
Simply WHICH IS BETTER?

when the germans are fighting agains the russians is it wise to keep your forces concentrated in one territory to escape detruction? I always end up doing this because of the british landings on norway and the russian attacks. Why defend a 2 ip territory when u can smash moscow or caucus next turn.

is it nessesary to launch the fighters off a carrier if the target is only 2 spaces awat? or can you drive the fighters into the seazone and if the carrier gets destroyed they get 4 movement? u tell me

When you atatck witha bomber its ok. BUT WHEN YOU GET CARPET BOMBED EVERY TURN FOR 3 DICE ITS NOT OK. the US keeps carpetbombing me (germany) from britain every turn. cant build and its useless to try to go for russia because im broke. this worsens if you are playing superfortress national power. it becomes wack.

no matter how much effort and landings you do with the us in north africa, the trouble really is india. if india is taken by the japs they can land in east africa every turn. this worsens if you are playing with national advantage lighting assaults and tokyo express. worry about germany, but fear the japs.

the destruction of the US pacific fleet is perhaps the most important event that can happen early in the game. mass your jap navy with support from fighters and that bomber and with some luck you can achive victory. dont mind the british south pacific fleet for its very easy to defeat and is limied to that carrier and the destroyer. if you can achievethe destruction of the pacific fleet the invasion of russia, china and india is a piece of cake. dont try to invade the us for its useless. all of their economic power comes from within the east and west barriers.

can i move the carrier 2 spaces and then attack with the aircraft? or must you attack from rest position?

i played with my friend and i was the allies. he blitskrieged leningrad and than the japs drove the brits out of calcutta. in one turn i was dead. how can you prevent such demise without leaving london or africa to the germans which would be disastrous?
