never say never in the world of Axis and Allies.  I’m pretty sure I’ve found a way, but as stated, has enough drawbacks of its own.  I could show you in a friendly game.  8-)

Remember the calculator is simply calculating the odds of victory or loss based on casualties from weakest to strongest in attack or defense value.  meaning it is removing the weakest units first followed by better ones later.

Yes, Carriers and aircraft move independently, but the rulebook just states, that warships may not move …! It states nowhere, that aircraft can’t move to any seazone. They are not allowed to land on any allied terretorry or aircraftcarrier, but they can of course fly ther and if there is a legal landing spot, land there. The planes are not restricted to not move into the atlantic, they (in most cases) can’t land and therefore can’t stay there.

If you still want a game, I suggest just popping into the league forum.  No shortage of challenges there.

A + 3 means Alpha + 3, which was the last set of rules changes before the 2nd edition came out.  Now people are going to be playing games with the second edition rules.
